Summary:
Light, airy, serene 1 bedroom bungalow located just steps away from La Jolla Shores Beach. First floor has living area with pull out QUEEN sofa, half bath and full kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances. Upstairs has washer/dryer, nook with a desk, bedroom and full bathroom.

Room for 4 people.

5 minute walk to famous La Jolla Shores Beach, less than 1 minute walk to restaurants and shops, kayak and surfboard rentals.

The Space:

Great space for an extended stay with kids. Kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were well-stocked, and the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and toys (and wagon to haul them all in) were clutch. Easy 5 - 10 min walk to the La Jolla Shores beach, 20 min walk to the Cove (and sea lions), and plenty of restaurants just around the corner. 10ish minute drive to several grocery stores, though the small shop on the corner is great for any quick buys you may need. Will definitely be back!

This was our first time staying in Lajolla. We absolutely loved the location of this Bungalow. It was the perfect location to the beach and nearby restaurants. The yard was spacious enough for us to enjoy sitting outside and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach. It was very comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. There is also a cute store steps away for any last minute items. Rose was a perfect host. We look forward to our next stay.

Perfect for a family of 2 adults & 1-2 small kids or one teen. Quiet and private. Definitely the best out of the cottages due to the private side yard. One of the only vacation homes I've stayed in with enough amenities for the entire stay which is SO helpful when u don't have to go out and buy more toilet paper or paper towels. We requested an exterminator due to mosquitoes and they responded immediately but then no one ever came so we barely used the back yard. However this is unusual for la Jolla (heat wave) so I can't blame the house for the bugs. We come to LJ every summer so I know the heat and bugs were not normal.

We really appreciated the kitchen having the basic necessities, the fact that there is a tiny local grocery store with the cutest lady named Lisa next-door literally right next-door, great small town vibes in this part of La Jolla, we’re so so grateful for a wonderful stay. Thank you for having us.

Fabulous stay!

This is our favorite place to stay in La Jolla! Easy walking distance to the beach for morning coffee and two fabulous restaurants. The little yard is so nice, the kitchen is well stocked, and the bed is comfortable. Thank you!

Convenient apartment in relaxed neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in La Jolla Shores, which is the perfect daytime place to spend time. The beach is a few minutes walk away and there are plenty of casual eateries on the way past.

Our Favorite Place to Get Away

We have stayed at the bungalow multiple times and always look forward to coming back. The rental is clean and stocked with everything needed for a beach getaway. We love how close it is to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream! We love enjoying the southern California weather on the enclosed patio with our dog. We have already booked our next trip and can't wait to go back
