This lovely Cottage is a perfect home away from home. The amenities were special; beyond expectation was included fine coffee beans and cream in the fridge and every important accessory at your fingertips. The beds were comfy and pillow choices multiple. Cleanliness was top priority as the host; Exceptional Ellen works hard to tidy up this wood-side forested bungalow. The garden is eclectic; a woodworker has handcrafted whimsical bamboo fixtures and driftwood sculptures in the garden area. It truly is magical For families looking for a creative and magical place. Ollie; the love-able hound is kid and adult friendly with a professorial eye toward treats. Olympia is a favorite pastime and a place we revisit annually. This cottage is a short two block walking distance from a famous neighborhood bakery called San Francisco Bakery. Lovely. Just really lovely. Mahalo to all who make it possible! Helen & Awilda

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood

The house was a lovely, tranquil place for our family to stay with lots of thoughtful touches. We loved it's location and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We will return to this property again on our next visit to Olympia.

Great Stay

Perfect spot if are wanting to explore in and around Olympia. Great bakery a couple of blocks away. Harbor just down the street. Warm area with plenty of places to get your coffee fix too.

Wonderful stay. Owner very responsive. Well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed to make postponed Christmas meal. San Francisco Bakery is within walking distance and is delicious. Great location to see everything in a Olympia. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Tea and coffee was a nice unexpected touch. Looking forward to staying again next year.

A Great Hideaway

Nice 2 bedroom unit tucked away in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown Olympia, and just a few blocks from a great bakery. We had a great stay, and will book again for future stays in Olympia.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed staying at the Bamboo Hideaway. It was clean and although we did not cook there, it appeared to have everything needed. I espeically enjoyed the short walk to the local bakery each morning. Ellen was very accomodating and responded immediately when we reached out to her. We were happy to have found this place to stay while visiting a friend in Lacey.

Beautiful bungalow in classic Olympia

Wonderful location with excellent amenities. It was particularly hot during our stay and the owners went through great lengths to ensure there was a working AC unit. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood and excellent host! Definitely would stay here again next time werw in town.

I stayed at the Bamboo Hideaway with three friends while we were in town for a wedding. It was the perfects size, great location, clean, and comfortable. If I ever have the pleasure of visiting Olympia again I will definitely stay at the Bamboo Hideaway.

Visiting family

The property was very relaxing for our visit to Olympia to see family. The neighborhood was very quiet, and we especially appreciated the ample off-street parking. Communication with the property manager was very fast and helpful, and we enjoyed meeting and visiting with the owners who have done an amazing job with the yard to make it a secluded oasis.
