Bay views / Gulf views

The house is 1600 square feet with 2 bedroom and 2 full baths. There are lots of windows bring nature light. The large master bedroom has king bed, TV, Massage chair is provided in a bedroom. Sofa bed for additional sleeping. The 2nd bedroom has 2 Full Twin beds. The living room has a large TV, 2 sofa beds, a large sofa, and a recliner. The Kitchen and dining room area is divided by a breakfast bar. Living room and dining room is surrounded by large windows to give a great view of the Mississippi Sound. You will have access to the swings and hammocks under the house, great for afternoon naps!
For the FISHERMAN, there is enough waterfront to dock your boat. The canal is deep enough to access larger boats. The house is only minutes from the nearest boat launch. Catch your own bait at the dock. There are NO houses between you and the Mississippi Sound or the Gulf of Mexico. It's only a short walk to the beach for you to enjoy the sunset of Dauphin Island.

We love it here! We have so much fun and love to fish off the dock! The house is clean - I would recommend changing out some of the lightbulbs. I would also suggest an outside table and chairs so that people could eat out there.

Excellent view of the bay, walked across the street to gulf side; master bed was very comfortable. Large smart TV and comfortable living area.

GREAT PLACE !!!

House was clean and very nice !! We took our grandson for a fishing weekend and this place was perfect. close to everything well stocked and good dock for boat. loved the deck and looking out over the water and my little tiny yorkie could not slip between the slats. Everyone had a great time and we will stay here again for sure !!!

Very good house

This is a very good house that has the potential to be a really great house. Between the listing & reviews I felt like I was well informed & expectations were met. The owner had excellent communication, location is right on the bay side, great fishing off the dock, clean house, mostly updated inside. Beautiful kitchen & bathroom cabinets. Both heat & ac worked well. The house could use some minor repairs, a deep cleaning, updated bedding, along with indoor and outdoor furniture. Honestly it would be an amazing improvement. Regardless of my preferences, we really enjoyed everything!

Room with a view

This is a lovely property. The views, day and night are truly spectacular. Sent a night time picture from the back deck and the reply was" OMG that cost a fortune" That says it all!

Incredible View

The stay was pleasant and we will return. Only three issues. There no bath clothes, bathing soap and not enough glasses. Also there were no printed instructions as to garbage pickup.

Great property close to everything

Great property especially for the price. Home is not brand new but is clean and well located. My son caught fish off the back dock every night and it is an easy walk across the road to the beach.

This is our second year to stay at this same place. Location is amazing! However, the kitchen is lacking on being stocked. There are several areas from last year that needed repair, like walls that had been patched but never painted. From the VRBO pics we were planning on using the boat lift and were told just a few days before that they did not work and we’re not included it the rental. We used one last year. Just really disappointed this year.

We will be staying here again

We definitely recommend this house. The house/property was as advertised. Tom was great in answering our questions. We were a little concerned that we would regret not spending more $ to stay on the beach side but ended up loving being on the bay side and watching the boats pass by all day. Already planning to book again next summer and plan to bring our boat next time. As others have stated, the house could use a little TLC but it was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The deck was great for our 2 dogs and the massage chair was an added bonus after a long day fishing and at the beach. Can’t wait until next time.

Pleased Hudson Family

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The property gives you the best of both worlds! You have the Bay for fishing on one side and you have the Beach on the other side for swimming and fun in the sun. The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. My husband and I agreed that we would be staying at this Wonderful Property again in the future.

More supplies provided than other rentals and No "Mandatory Requirements for departure like washing bedding and towels". Few outside light bulbs needed. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home
