Cabane Oak Tree près de la rivière Shenandoah

Oak Tree cabin est une toute nouvelle location de vacances spécialement conçue qui vient d'ouvrir ses portes en mars 2020. Il est près de nos cabines Eagle's Nest, Tree Top et Eaglet et, comme eux, est près de la rivière, assis au-dessus de la rivière avec une zone pour descendre jusqu'au bord de la rivière. Il fait partie d'un emplacement de «piège à poisson» de 18 acres qui était utilisé par les anciens Indiens d'Amérique il y a des centaines d'années.

Oak Tree est une cabine confortable avec un bel extérieur et intérieur moderne. Planchers de bois franc, électroménagers en acier inoxydable, téléviseurs à écran plat - tout est nouveau, luxueux et attend votre plaisir personnel. Les images capturent une partie de la beauté, du design moderne, de la nature et des espaces ouverts. Jetez un œil à ceux-ci et buvez le tout!

En termes de taille, Oak Tree est destiné aux familles seules ou à deux couples pour un maximum de 4 personnes. Il y a une chambre et un canapé-lit supplémentaire, les deux sont de taille queen. Une salle de bain pour la maison et une buanderie complète.

VEUILLEZ NOTER: Les frais de bois de chauffage optionnels de 10 $ / nuit sont pour le bois de chauffage pour le foyer extérieur. (Le foyer intérieur de cette propriété est au gaz.) AMAZING WEEKEND GETAWAY

Oak Tree was nothing short of amazing, tucked in the woods with beautiful views. Hottub overlooked the Shenandoah river- it doesn't get much better than that. Will definetly be back!

Lovely stay at Oak Tree cabin

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Cozy, warm and clean. Everything you will need to enjoy your time in Shenandoah valley and the mountains. Short drive to Shenandoah national park and Luray Caverns. The sound of the river and sunrise over the mountains in the morning can't be beat. I appreciated the stocked firewood for the cabin, super convenient.

Really nice, secluded getaway. Had a great time, and the property was very clean and comforting. Close enough to Shenandoah Natl. Park, but not close enough to have to sacrifice peace & quiet. Would recommend!

Amazing birthday retreat!

My fiancé and I spent my birthday weekend in Oak Tree. We had such a relaxing time in this quaint little cabin. It was perfect for everything we needed! All the necessities needed for cooking/cleaning up were found in the kitchen or laundry room. The round staircase really pulled me in! This cabin is not too far away from anywhere you might want to explore or if you need to make a run to the store. Even though it’s not far, you still feel so secluded. We hope to come back next fall once the foliage starts to change more. Thank you Laura and Kevin for having such an amazing little cabin to escape to!

The Oak Tree cabin is a charming and cozy retreat that offers a delightful and unforgettable escape into nature.

My stay at the Oak Tree rental cabin was nothing short of magical! Nestled in a picturesque setting, this charming cabin offers the perfect escape from everyday life. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its cozy atmosphere and rustic charm, complete with wooden beams, a loft bedroom, and a little fireplace. I was delighted to find s'mores supplies waiting for me, adding an extra touch of fun to our evenings. One of my favorite experiences was stargazing from the hot tub, surrounded by nature. Making a fire in the fire pit was another highlight! The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the dining area offered stunning views through the large windows. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway in a cozy setting, I can’t recommend the Oak Tree cabin enough. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and nature. I can’t wait to return!

Clean yet decieving from listing

The poperty was very clean and cozy, however the water had a horrible sulfur smell. It was so strong that we purchased drinking water and you could smell it just by turning the sink on. The river was not visible from the porch, the short walk to the river was down a steep pathway. The river was not accessible as described as there was no access point, unless you count reeds and high grass. The property was very clean and cozy, just wish the water smell would of been better.

Great getaway!

My husband & I (and our dog) visited Oak Tree last weekend. After a very rough 6 months (death in the family) we wanted to get away for a quiet, relaxing weekend with no distractions. That’s exactly what Oak Tree gave us. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We took walks down to the lake, soaked in the hot tub and looked at the stars, took a drive through Shenandoah State Park to look at the overlooks & just enjoyed each other’s company. We never even used the fire pit, even though we had all intentions to do so. There is a small town that has anything you need, although we brought food with us from home and made meals. The kitchen served every purpose we were looking for in that regard. All in all it was exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely go back!

Great trip!

I loved the cabin and it was a great trip! The property was amazing and the house manager was excellent with communication. My only issues were that there should have been detailed instructions for using the grill and the bugs made sleeping in the bed impossible. There were so many bugs that came in and were attracted to the bedroom light and they eventually died leaving about 60 dead flys and bugs on the bed by the time we were ready to sleep in it. We ended up using the sofa bed which was perfectly fine. I think it’s easy to get rid of the bugs indoors but there just wasn’t a mechanism to do so during our stay. The house and lake are beautiful though and we enjoyed our trip overall!

Nasty Hot Tub

For the daily price you pay, everything should work properly and clean. The hot tub water level was about 6in low. The water had a greenish color to it. There were a lot of calcium flakes floating around, and the filter itself was yellow. The shower curtain had that pink grimy buildup on the bottom, and the corners of the shower had the same pink grime built up in between the cracks. Please know that the water is on a septic system, so it will smell like eggs when you run any water in the house. The smart TV was VERY slow while navigating the apps (not sure if this was the internet or the TV itself). The location is great, albeit there is construction on new properties. Thankfully we were there for a holiday wkend, so we didn’t hear the noise/they were not working. The fire-pit was the best part. We ended up leaving a day early. I would not recommend using Shenandoah Rental properties.

Scenic and relaxing cabin

From the booking experience to the check-out, communications were timely and thorough. The cabin was clean and well appointed…great accommodations! We booked the cabin with the hot tub in mind, so it was a little disappointing to see that it was older and not quite as clean as expected. The couch in the living room was quite worn. Finally, although the strong smell of sulphur may be an obvious consequence of a septic system, we were unprepared for just how strong the smell would be. Overall, great experience and great owners.

Beautiful Stay

Great property. Very comfortable and clean and the location was remote enough to enjoy some solitude, but close enough to town for everything to be accessible.
