Villa Elsie est une villa privée face à la mer de 3 chambres située dans le centre d’Arenal, avec piscine privée et vue imprenable sur la mer. Il est à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la plage. Parfaitement situé avec une vue imprenable sur la baie, toutes les commodités d’Arenal ne sont qu’à quelques minutes à pied. Il peut accueillir confortablement 6/7 personnes dans 3 chambres sur les premier et deuxième étages. La chambre 1 peut accueillir 3 personnes dans un ensemble de lits superposés et un lit simple, avec placards et vue sur le jardin. Chambre 2 pour 2 personnes dans des lits jumeaux (ou un double rapprochés) a une belle vue sur la mer et placards. Il y a aussi un lit de voyage pour les bébés. Au même étage se trouve une spacieuse salle de bains commune avec douche, bidet et lave-linge. La chambre principale dispose d'un lit de taille Superking et d'une salle de bains privative avec baignoire et douche. Le balcon offre une vue magnifique sur la baie. Au rez-de-chaussée se trouve une cuisine / salle à manger ouverte avec télévision (uniquement pour le lecteur DVD), Wifi, lave-vaisselle, four micro-ondes, four, cafetière Nespresso, table à manger et confortable canapé modulable pouvant également être utilisé à l'extérieur sur le jardin. À l'extérieur, un patio donnant sur la piscine privée, une douche, un barbecue en brique et des chaises longues.
La villa offre espace et intimité, mais avec tout le confort d'être proche du centre d'Arenal et de la plage, en raison de son emplacement central, vous pourrez écouter de la musique forte le soir à proximité de l'hôtel. Aucune voiture n'est requise sauf si vous souhaitez explorer l'île, bien qu'il y ait une place de parking privée.

Fantastic Villa in a great location

Check in was easy, the villa manager was really helpful. Everything was clean, I would stay there again. The location is fantastic and walking distance to a small supermarket and restaurants

Fabulous villa with easy access to Arenal and all it has to offer. Cathryn is an excellent host and was great at communicating and making us feel so welcome. Will definitely look to come back soon.

Stayed here with my friend's we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish communications with Cathryn the owner of the villa was outstanding answering all my questions and queries The villa itself is lovely it has everything you need home from home, swimming pool wonderful, the villa is in a great location with shop's and restaurants within walking distance and a beautiful beach approx 5mins walk We had a lovely chilled week at villa Elsie and hoping to book again for next year need home

Wonderful!

We had a great and relaxing stay in the villa. The house is super equipped and we lacked nothing. The view from the upstairs bedroom is fantastic! In the evening you can hear the animation from the neighboring hotel but we did not mind. To the beach you walk 7 Minutes, the bay has crystal clear water, nearby are some restaurants, most with sea view. Cathryn has given us super restaurant tips and always answered within the shortest time. We can recommend the villa!

Wonderful week with family

A wonderful week in June, at Villa Elsie. Fantastic location, so close to shops, restaurants and the beautiful beach. The Villa itself had everything we needed and communication with Cathryn the Host, was second to none. She was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. You could hear music from the hotel nearby during the day and in the evening, however it was very promptly switched off at 11pm and we actually enjoyed listening to it, with a drink by our pool, in the evening whilst the kids were asleep. We have already booked for June 2024!

Fabulous villa

Wonderful week at Villa Elsie! We have stayed in Arenal before but this was our first time at this property and it was absolutely perfect. The pool is just the right size for a little swim and games. Location wise very close to the steps down to the beach and just a short stroll to the shops and restaurants. Inside the villa everything was spotless and well equipped. The master bedroom with its balcony and views across the bay is pretty special. Many thanks to Cathryn for letting us check in early and being a perfect host. The fresh eggs were an extra treat! Hope we can return again soon.

Peaceful (off season), but close to all amenities

We stayed mid-May 2017, when the property had yet to have the garden tidied, and when the hotels and other villas had a low occupancy. The property is charming, well located and well presented (garden excepted, but little work would be needed). Well furnished, well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. I suspect that in high season, it would be a little noisier (especially from the nearby Marine Club), but that goes with the territory I suppose. Would we go back again? Definitely. Overall, this property represents exceptional value, and the owners (by email) could not have been more helpful and friendly. So why only four stars? We would love to see the property when the garden has been tidied up, and the winter wear & tear dealt with - it would then surely rate 5 stars.

Nous avons passé un très bon sejour à Arenal. La maison est très spacieuse et offre de belles prestations. La propriétaire Kathryn est très à l'écoute de ses hôtes et a tout fait pour nous rendre le sejour agréable. Cependant, la propriété est située à proximité d'un complexe hôtelier très bruyant de 10 heures à 23 heures. ( musique, spectacles, jeux...) qui peuvent nuire aux moments de détente dans la propriété.

We are very disappointed that you were not happy at our Villa and will address the things that can be changed for future guests. I am suprised you felt there was no space in the bedrooms, they all have double wardrobes which should only have directly useful items in them (bedding and towels) as we never leave personal belongings or clutter in the cupboards. We agree the James Villas that are adjacent do have lovely pools and gardens which ours does not but the rental price reflects this. We have worked very hard to make ours as welcoming, clean and comfortable internally and as soon as we are able would love to have a pool fitted. It also clearly lists that there is no air conditioning in our Villa but for very hot weeks there are fans in the bedrooms. You state that it is infernal in July/August but you actually stayed in June? We spent nearly the whole of August there last year and did not find it to be too hot inside at all. The hotel I cannot move, but this year the residents of Arenal tackled the noise (which had increased over the last couple of years) with the Mayor at Es Mercadal Council who personally saw to the reduction of music and the re postioning of the speakers. When I visited on June 24th this year there was a very distinct difference and I feel the noise levels now are perfectly in keeping with the resort as a family holiday destination.

The house is perfect, the beach is just 5' by feet BUT you have to choose the low season to avoid the opening of the club hotel, too close to the house and very noisy (music until mid-night)

We are sorry you experienced unsociable noise from the nearby hotel during you stay. The local residents of Arenal have since spoke to Es Mercadal council and this problem has been addressed. The music from the hotel now is within very acceptable levels and the speakers have been faced away from the resort.

Perfect Break

My family have just returned from a few days stay at Villa Elsie. The villa was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need! Very good position shops and restaurants within walking distance. We did hire a car as we like to travel to other favourite restaurants. Excellent communication from Cathryn. I highly recommend this villa and will definitely return.

I’ve been to arenal 12 times now one of the best beaches I’ve ever been on, was very reasonably priced for it’s location for families. As villas go I thought this is very good.

Lovely Villa!

We had a great time here, a good location since it's 5 mins from the restaurants and the beautiful beach. It's a lovely well mantained villa and Cathryn couldn't be more helpful. We arrived a few hrs before check in but we were able to drop our luggage there, go for something to eat and let the cleaners get everything tip top. Highly recommended.

Great location 5 minutes from everything, beautiful Villa with everything you need

The villa was spacious and well presented inside. The lovely beach is 5 minutes walk away down some steps, and shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away into town. The bay is one of the nicest we found on Menorca, and the beach was not overly busy even in July. You can hear the entertainment at the nearby hotel during the day and into the evening. This didn't bother us as we were out at the beach or at dinner etc, and it finished at 10.30pm every night. The garden was also a bit dry when we arrived, the 'lawn' was bare earth. But overall the villa was great and good value compared to other properties in the area. I would definitely stay again, Cathryn was extremely helpful by e-mail and the Villa had lots of personal touches like DVDs and beach balls/tennis which made it very homely.

Fantastic family holiday

My husband and I stayed with our two young children at the end of April/beginning of May. We cannot fault it we had a superb holiday. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed, the location was fantastic - just a short walk down to the beautiful beach which the children loved, and the communication from Cathryn was great (even arranging for an extra electric heater to be delivered on the second day because the weather was a bit cool at the beginning of the holiday). I would recommend!

Great villa in prime location 5 mins walk from arenal beach.Well equipped and comfortable and lovely views. A Pool would be good but not completely necessary as beach so near. Would recommend this property and would love to return.

We are the Willemse family and we first visited Menorca with our children for a family holiday in 2014. We have since moved to the island as the more we visited the less we wanted to go back.. We live in the countryside inland, with Dante the dog, three rescued cats, horse, donkey and an abundance of fruit trees! Arenal is still our favourite coastal resort and we are delighted to be close by now to make sure that our guests have everything they need at all times.

We had our first family holiday in Arenal in August 2014 and fell in love with the place. We were introduced to it by another family we've known for many years who have owned an apartment there for 40 years and seen their children grow up and have their kids. We had toyed with the idea of owning a property abroad but not until we found Arenal D'en Castell did we really become serious about it. Villa Elsie realises our dream of location, convenience, perfect views but also privacy and individuality. Since we bought the Villa in September 2015 we have made many improvements. We have now moved to the island full time and we are loving the culture and the peace and tranquility.
