My wife Katie and I live in Arkansas where we’re raising our four amazing kids — two boys (ages 16 and 3) and two girls (13 and 6). Life is busy, full, and never boring — and we love it that way!

I run a full service commercial real estate firm where we handle everything from development and construction to leasing, management, and brokerage. We also have a residential division that manages our vacation homes here in Arkansas and along the beautiful beaches of Florida’s 30A.

We searched for years to find the perfect lake house, and the moment we saw this one, we knew it checked all the boxes. It’s tucked away on a private road with only four homes, offering peace and privacy — yet it’s just five minutes from Central Avenue, the main road in Hot Springs. That means you’re minutes from grocery stores, boat rentals, restaurants, gas stations, and more. It’s incredibly easy and convenient to access compared to many homes around Lake Hamilton.

The house sits on a full acre with amazing lake views and sunsets that never get old. The area of the lake we’re on is a quiet no-tow zone, which keeps boat traffic low and makes it peaceful for swimming and relaxing. Our swim area has shallow water near the shore (ankle to 4 feet deep), perfect for kids and wading, while just off the dock, the water is 7–9 feet deep — great for swimming and boating. The fishing here is also excellent!

The layout of the house is another highlight. Each of the four bedrooms is large and has its own private bathroom, making it ideal for families or multiple couples. The cozy living room features vaulted wood ceilings, a real wood-burning fireplace, and an open floor plan connecting to the dining area and custom kitchen.

One of our favorite spots is the huge covered deck — perfect for grilling, relaxing with a drink, or soaking in the hot tub, rain or shine. Down by the lake, the stone fire pit area is a great place to gather and enjoy cool evenings under the stars.
