We loved B105 We cannot wait to be here again in March 2023, already reserved! B105 is in an Ideal location on the property. Loved the marina area, the clubhouse BBQ area just a perfect time for our family. We recommend The History of Diving Museum, Turtle Hospital in Marathon, Fl. The charter fishing and having local restaurants cook your catch. Kayaking right off the marina And the local restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and quick to help when we were later than we expected and was very helpful with an issue of proof of ID and we used cellphone to send photo ID.

Very comfortable upstairs.

Very comfortable upstairs. Not so much downstairs. Also there was a lack of oars for the kayaks. Informative team and notifications prior to arrival were helpful and made me comfortable about renting through Barefoot Rentals. Just wish I knew of strong odor in bottom bedroom.

Awesome Location

The location is private and secured. It was well kept and plenty to do. The pool does need work, but that was explained while we were there. They are proposing a refurbish but even the way it was the pool worked fine. The place we were at was perfect! Very well designed. We did call about a dirty air conditioning filter, which they never changed and called about a ceiling fan and down stairs TV not working which were never addressed. This didn’t change what we thought about the location. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay! We did put in a work order for the maintenance company regarding the ceiling fan and air conditioning filter as well as a work order to Comcast to address the cable issue. I’m sorry they could not get you on the schedule during your stay. We look forward to hosting you on your return trip!

I

I really enjoyed staying at moon day with the boat dock and the fishing off the dock , ice Machine was nice , the sunset was beautiful and the pool , Nice restaurants near the condo the only thing is that the recreation room was closed because of remodeling , parking was a little difficult we only get one parking slot , if there is any guest spots available you can take that but not very many and we had two cars , I would definitely stay here again Whenever I called them no matter what time of the day they always help me out

We had a great time.

We had a great time. Each child had their own space, and we needed the porch and multiple baths for drying SCUBA gear and bathing suits! Property was as expected, but needs a deep clean, paint job, and renovation. Parking situation not ideal. There was only one space, not close to the unit. Someone else kept parking in the B105 spot, but when we left our car in a different space (only for a few hours), we received a note warning about getting towed if we parked anywhere but the assigned spot. There were several things that were thoughtfully included that were great- laundry (as expected), but also a drying rack on the porch and a dehumidifier in the basement bathroom. Really helped drying bathing suits, towels, and wetsuits. We had an issue with the A/C, which was promptly addressed and repaired. We recommend SCUBA! Benfield wreck, Molasses reef and French reef. We used Rainbow Reef dive center. MGR RESPONSE: Deep cleaning scheduled and painting planned so please return and see the improvements! Helpful, prompt, and professional. Easy check in and check out. Property was as described and expected. Amenities were better than expected.

UNsafe, UNclean rental property in disrepair

This is not a townhouse as there is no inside access to the lower level and no 2nd or fire exit from the lower level unit. It is two separate units with 2 separate entrances and door key locks. Barefeet Rentals maintenance helped us access the stuck lower level door on the first evening. Those who later went to the downstairs unit at bedtime found it to be disgustingly filthy with a sticky counter, dirty floor including an empty can, a dead bug, a pepto bismol pill, gritty carpet and stained sheets. Each day we discovered additional repairs needed including a cracked toilet, loose floor tiles, broken blinds in 3 areas of the unit, twisted curtains, leaky faucet, off-balance closet slider door that would not stay closed, rodent hole chewed through the screen on the porch. One must sit on a pillow on the upper unit sofa so as not to feel as if sitting on the floor. The ceramic dishes are chipped in the surface area which can harbor bacteria. The last day, tried unsuccessfully to pull out the lower level sofa bed and found a rag in dried vomit. This is hard to UN-see. On the 3rd day maintenance came to fix the dishwasher that had standing grey water in the bottom. He was also able to fix the lock on the back slider door that was loose and difficult to lock. He replaced the missing vertical blind slat, 2 light bulbs and 2 clock batteries. He noted that they don’t know something is broken until someone tells them. In this situation, the paying guest was expected to provide a list of maintenance concerns. While maintenance was at the unit, a housekeeper arrived unannounced to change the twin sheets that we had already washed and put back on the bed the day before. The Vrbo picture includes kayaks that were not available for our use and this was not clearly communicated. This is a boat dock and not a wading or swimming beach. We have shared pictures of our concerns and have communicated with Vrbo as this was our first Vrbo experience. We are also waiting for a response from Barefeet Rental Agency.

I find it interesting that we get 4 and 5 star reviews on properties and then a 1 star like this that makes it sound like we need to tear down and rebuild. Our Rooms Management team responded immediately to this guest’s concerns even offering to replace all the bed linens with new which she declined. Before the rooms management team left she assured them she was happy and everything was fine. After departure we received an email with this laundry list of additional complaints and photos of furniture that was moved where there was indeed dust and dirt behind. This has been addressed. I will close by saying she is demanding a 100% refund for her family of fives 7- night stay which has been declined.

Nice location

We always enjoy Moon Bay and the slip is included with this rental, which was awesome! Two separate rooms connected by an exterior spiral staircase gave us lots of room and we enjoyed the balcony. Room is right there at the pool. Super convenient. The downstairs apartment allowed my son and daughter in law to have their own space, which was nice. Some of the fixtures could use updating and main bedroom has no dresser to put clothes in. Otherwise a nice stay and the rental company was very responsive. Had an issue with bedroom blinds that were fixed same day. Staff was friendly. Would definitely book this one again.

Great Amenities/No frills

The property included excellent amenities. We especially enjoyed the small beach and grill area, clubhouse, pool, and tennis courts. The washer/dryer in the property was invaluable, as was dehumidifier in basement bath. Barefeet rentals was prompt with all requests and questions. The unit needs a deep clean and paint job but was perfectly acceptable and met our needs.

This review is puzzling...we are open 7-days a week with additional answering service 24/7. On-call emergency contacts are not provided until there is a confirmed booking - not sure why that would be needed if a guest has not made a deposit. Once a deposit is made guests are sent an email with check-in instructions as well as follow up texts leading up to arrival. Additional information is provided for guests arriving after-hours. As with all mechanical appliances and HVAC equipment - whether your personal home or on vacation, things do breakdown. I’m sorry you didn’t mention how promptly we addressed the situation. We will inspect the linens and replace as necessary. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

B105 STAY

Loved the area down stairs sleeper sofa not comfortable at all. A few things weren’t cleaned well. When checking in to pick up our form we went after hours; we were luck we to find a lady working there or else we would have not be able to stay due to a codo. I was never emailed code or given code to unlock box. I emailed my information twice and called. They said everything was set and I would receive email. When we arrived I call the numbers left VM didn’t get a call back. During our stay we had an appraiser come. Somewhat awkward but we allowed them to do what was needed. Some update are needed like microwave. Stove fan and light. Sliding door come out of place. Empty games boxes. Over all it was an okay stay. Beach was nice pool nice

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the unit, it was very comfortable and spacious. We had six people and never felt crowded. There was plenty of furniture, and furniture and beds were quite comfortable. Only piece we had an issue with was the ottoman, which was broken and couldn’t be used even to put our feet up. Very well equipped, lots of dishes, silverware, glasses - you don’t have to wash all the dishes after each meal to have enough clean dishes for the next meal. Amenities at the unit included great pool, fishing off the dock, bean bag toss and ping pong in the club house, lots of hammocks and hammock swings, kayaks. Within a couple miles of John Pennekamp State Park. Lots of boating and fishing charters available. We went for a cruise on The African Queen. Tour Pigeon Key, drive to Key West. Very gracious and professional. Quickly responded to all of our questions.
