Booking via FeWo direct was very easy and comfortable. The direct contact with the owner thereafter - a welcome email and a 2nd for the key arrangements - was friendly, open and quick.Greystones was very clean and well equiped. The owners (next door) very friendly and helpful recommending hiking tours to us.We found Greystones being a good spot to start several tours, here to mention Staveley, Kentmere, Ambleside and Fairy Steps near Milnthorp/Beetham (that was a smaller walk for a late start after a rainy morning). Also walking along the Lancaster Canal with the dog in the morning was perfect. We enjoyed our stay at Greystones and would love to come back again. We can definitely recommend it.
