Country chic meets southwest cottage in the woods, complete with firepit.
Large screened porch. Open, spacious floor plan. Catalina Cottage is in a quiet residential neighborhood up in the hills above Kerrville less than 5 minutes from town center, restaurants, the Kerrville River Trail and the beautiful Guadalupe River. Wineries abound in every direction: Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Comfort, Utopia.
It is perfect for couples or small families to have a peaceful getaway in the beautiful Hill Country. A wonderful fire pit in the backyard awaits s'mores under a starry sky.
The space
Catalina Cottage is a special place where you can enjoy nature from the screened porch in the front or watch the sunset from the back porch. There are birds galore as well as deer and other critters.
There is a baby grand piano in the sitting area off the master bedroom just waiting for your inner musician.
The full kitchen is well equipped for any aspiring chef.

The entire home is beautiful & welcoming. It is clean & well stocked, through out. The beds are comfy, and the linens are nice and plentiful. So many little details make this home feel like staying in a friend’s home not a rental. The setting is lush, perfect and private. We wished we could have stayed longer. Communication with Carey was quick, easy and kind. We could not recommend more highly. What a treat it was to stay. Thank you! We would stay again.

The location is beautiful. Sitting in the hills of Kerrville, the house is decorated simply but beautiful. The landscaping is peaceful. I would totally come back again.

The house is Amazing. Quaint little secluded perfectly appointed home. Large cedars trees and oaks. Shady front and back yard. Clean perfect set up for two couples. Privacy. Quiet neighborhood. Country at its best. Live the house so much i asked for plans. To build a lake house soon. I loved the place! So did my husband. Two porches. One screened in. No bugs. Thank you for opening a wonderful home to us.

My wife and I and her sister and husband had a wonderful stay in this HomeAway home while we visited some of the girls cousins celebrating one of their 80th birthday celebrations. This is the second time we have stayed in this home. It is a great fit for two couples. Very well managed and very clean.

Perfect hill country getaway

Visited Catalina Cottage with friends from out of state who had never been to TX. It was a great jumping off point for day trips to San Antonio, Austin, Fredericksburg, Wimberley, and Luckenbach. The cottage was very clean with upscale linens and towels. The kitchen is well equipped. The house had plenty of room for two couples to have privacy with the split bedroom design. The screened front porch was bigger than it appears online with seating and a table. The cottage sits back from the road, so very private. We didn’t use the fire pit or gas grill, but both were clean and ready for use. The owner was friendly and helpful and easy to contact. Kerrville is a nice size town with plenty of stores and restaurants as well. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, Restful Place

First time stay but we all agree it’s where we want to be any time we’re in the Kerrville area; clean, quiet, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, beautifully decorated, a highlight of our visit to the hill country.

It was everything we expected and more,

The property was everything we hoped for. It had a well stocked refrigerater. No need to bring your own mustard, ketchup, etc. Want a coffee maker? It had a 6 cup drip pot, a single serve Keurig with multiple choice pods, and a french press. It had a dishwasher with soap pods provided. Same with the clothes washer and dryer.It also had a covered back porch and a screened in front porch. Being a little off the road, it was incredibly quiet.We misplaced one of our phones. It was located on the road by one of her neighbors. As we were 60 miles out of town, the owner offered to meet us halfway to bring us the phone.We wanted to get away from Houston for a few days, and this rental accomplished that with flying colors. I would definitely recommend this place and we will probably go back again.

Quiet Get Away

Beautiful house in a great location and extremely clean inside and out . Host was super responsive and accommodating. Our kids loved the games and toys provided by the host. Would not consider the cottage secluded as described in the property description however for us, we were perfectly fine with the location as it was quite enough yet close to amenities like restaurants and the grocery store.

Best ever

We were in the area to visit friends who were camping nearby. On line this house checked all the boxes I needed for myself, wife and another couple. Split bedroom plan worked well for us. This house was spotless and was stocked very good. Every thing I needed was there. I asked one question about a fan control and it was answered quickly. I will stay again when I’m in the area.I can recommend this house to anyone.

Great place for a Get-Away

This home has been taken care of. The layout was nice, the location felt secluded and it was quiet. Compared to many places we have stayed, this one felt much more like a home, very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need and then some. While we didn't cook, it was nice to see so many utensils and cookware available. There are so many little extra touches that are provided here you just don't see at other rentals. This is a place we would stay again.
