Only 10 minutes to downtown Kerrville. This 1945 unique ranchette offers incredible versatility with a spring fed swimming hole, fields, woods, gathering areas, pools and rapids. There is water all year long, star gazing, song birds, you may even see deer, turkeys, flowers, fishes and turtles. The 100 year old Cypress and Oak trees offer shade and grandeur.
Come, relax and enjoy time with no internet, and time of Peace and Tranquility with family and friends.
Home has a stone and wood interior with charming character.

Julia is absolutely wonderful! Enjoyed our stay and spent allot of time outside on the property! Breathtaking views with morning coffee / mimosas!! What a wonderful place to spend Christmas!! We will be back!!

Beautiful, whimsical- like property on the river.
Small rapids. We hung a hammock above this area under an amazing shade tree. Best nap ever!
This amazing area is just as you head upstream from the property

Great spot to enjoy the Guadalupe

Very clean older home that you only need to sleep in. Spent each day down at the water relaxing from city life. We fished, played in the water, stayed cool under the oaks, and enjoyed some adult beverages. It's a great place to unwind.

Beautiful Grounds

Nice property.... Enjoyed sitting on the swing near the river.House very clean and well appointed. Host was very good and responsive. We will likely stay here again.

Weekend by the water

We fished ,swam, kayaked and hung out by the fire. It was beautiful and relaxing! We took our dogs and they loved running free down by the river. Hostess was nice and house was clean and homey. Only downside is it was by the highway and airport so a little noisy at times. But we will definitely come back.

Peaceful Paradise

We loved this place.. an older home but comfortable and nicely kept... No Wi-Fi, No washer/dryer were the only drawbacks... We LOVED the outdoors... it was so relaxing, refreshing and beautiful... we would definitely come back here again...

Delightful Inn Wknd Stay

The house was clean & cozy. The backyard & river access was perfect & so beautiful. Enjoyed some time fishing & caught a couple of bass. Blessed to make some wonderful memories with my family! Thanks Julia!!

We used this house mostly as a "launch pad" for excursions to hill country roads and shopping trips. It's a nice, comfortable house with a kitchen equipped for cooking meals. The backyard is a great place to hang out on a nice afternoon, with plenty of shade trees and access down to the river. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with plenty of outlets to plug in whatever needs charged.The river is a bit different since the flood. The banks have been cleared and are recovering, but the river is a good bit lower than in the pictures. On the plus side of that, there's an area where the rocks in the riverbed formed a small waterfall/rapids area, allowing visitors to lose themselves in the sounds while dreaming away the afternoon.This house is 30 minutes from Medina and the start of ranch road 337. Make sure you hit Love Creek Orchard store for some of the best apple pie, strudel, sauce, butter, etc.One note: there is a small regional airport across the road. Air traffic was minimal while we were there, and added a bit of fun watching planes take off and land. Noise wasn't a problem at all.All that being said, I would absolutely stay here again. Next time, though, I'll bring my fishing gear.

Hidden Gem in Kerrville, TX!

This was exactly what my family and I were looking for. We did not mind the house being older. What really got us hook was the backyard water access and how huge the property was. Being the 4th of July week, we had lots of fun with friends and family enjoying the day/night swimming, fishing, kayaking, BBQing, tubing and everything you want to do outdoors. Fair warning though, there is no WIFI( you do have cell service though), washer/dyer, and it is a little rough heading to the backyard water access. I can imagine if you are disabled, you might want to take your time heading down, but it can be manageable. The pros out weights the cons for our family. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed! The owner is super nice. She is very responsive, if you have and question or concerns, she is on it. Basically, if you want good ole family fun in Kerrville, TX, this is the place, trust me! The pictures do not do it Justice! This place is beautiful!
