Beautiful condo. It was clean and had a beautiful view. Easy access to the beach. The management company was great. They were easy to communicate with, on check-in day they arrived within 20 minutes, after-hours, to fix our thermostat. We would definitely stay here again! A few recommendations and heads up for future guests, but this won’t stop us from coming back!:- The mattresses are horrible. I read a prior review about them, so I was relatively prepared. But I was shocked at how beautiful the unit was and how poor the mattresses are. I also read the management’s comment to the review, and agree that mattresses are subjective to the person. My solution would be to add two nice memory foam toppers in each of the bedroom closets so the guests that do have an issue with the mattresses can be comfy.- One bedroom doesn’t have curtains over the blinds. At night, the hall lights shine through the blinds. It’d be great to add curtains to this room. - Walls are paper thin. You can hear everything! We were on the 3rd floor end unit, & could hear beside, above, & below. Not an issue for us because we are early risers & laid back, & aware it’s a condo, but heads up for future guests that may not want a 6am wake up call to doors opening/closing doors/moving furniture, etc. - The shower tile & grout need a deep cleanNone of this would deter us from booking again. We loved our condo, loved our unit, and loved our stay!! Thank you to the owner and management for a wonderful listing!

Great place to stay!

Our family has stayed at Ketch several times, but this was our first time in this condo. The condo was updated, clean, and stocked with everything we needed during our brief stay. This is an end unit, which we liked because it felt a little more private. We love staying at Ketch and prefer it over other places we've stayed on Amelia!

April 2024 vacation

Condo was clean, well appointed kitchen, balcony overlooking the ocean, comfortable mattresses, condo was as pictured, plenty of comfortable seating for the 4 of us. Especially, appreciated Stay Better Vacations' attitude of, you are on vacation, so you should not have to clean. Had to do the least at this condo before checkout than anywhere we have previously stayed. Would definitely stay here, again.

Ours stay was amazing with a beautiful view! The room is great and we loved coming in to the relaxing music on the tv's. It is a great vibe! The only small item we wish we had was a full length mirror. You know how girls like to check out there outfits before going out for dinner and dancing! 😉

WE WILL BE BACK!

My husband and I thought Ketch was fabulous. Not too big, not too small. It’s a beautiful, quaint property located exactly where we wanted to be. The view of the natural grounds, bunnies and turtles made it even better. We actually felt “at home” even though it was our first time at this property. The only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars was the fact the power went out twice during our stay. The second time was day of departure when everyone is trying to load up carts and use elevator to get their belongings out to their cars. Having to use stairs to carry so much when it’s already 105 degrees outside wasn’t fun. Not a dealbreaker. We will be back!

Looking forward to returning!

Location is perfect; easy drive into Fernandina for restaurants, shopping, or any sightseeing. The condo was spotless and comfortably furnished in a beach theme. Having the pool located in front is a plus since it minimizes noise for those of us who just want to enjoy the sounds of the ocean from the covered balcony. Stacie, the manager, was in constant communication both before and during which was great. View is wonderful, really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again as soon as we can get back!

Well stocked with kitchen equipment. Tv got all channels, but it was a bit complicated for a neophyte. One bed was very hard so that I couldn’t sleep on it. Great showers in bathrooms. Bath products included. Can’t smoke or vape on the property. Excellent customer service.

August 2021- Great Property

My husband and I stayed in 301 for 5 nights. It's very clean, nicely decorated, and the view was fabulous. We saw turtles and bunnies in the dunes daily which was so much fun. Very short walk to the beach. Elevator. Various dolly choices to get your luggage to the unit. Rental company very responsive for our very minimal concerns. Didn't use the pool but looks good for kids. Quiet, only heard upstairs neighbor a few times. Baby next door, but wouldn't have known it if I didn't see the family in the entry area. Blender in the kitchen which was much appreciated (and lots of ice upon arrival). Only suggestion is perhaps putting a full length mirror somewhere in the unit. Bed was comfortable as was other furniture. I'm ready to go back. Will definitely book again.
