Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. When I called Debbie when we arrived, she assumed we were calling to complain however I was inquiring about parking. The property had not been shoveled or salted, and the steps were extremely icy, creating a safety concern. Thankfully my BIL had a metal shovel that my nephew used to break the ice on the steps.Throughout most of our stay, there was little hot water. The home was not properly cleanedâthere was dirt under beds, trash under couches, dirty showers, a dirty patio, and a strong odor in the basement.Several items were broken or not functioning properly, including the upstairs shower handle, bathroom light, dryer handle, chairs, recliners, and vacuum. The patio door did not lock properly, there were no blinds or curtains on the patio door, and a bullet was found in a drawer, which was alarming. The master bedroom shower did not have a curtain. The game room was unusable due to missing and broken equipment. Salt and a shovel were not provided until the third day-made property manager aware of ice covered steps upon arrival. We couldnât use the fireplace in the living room-it blew out cold air. The positives were that the house was very spacious and the location was great. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews before booking this property. I moved forward because it accommodated my entire group and nearby properties were booking quickly.
