The property is a 3 bedroom, 3 full bath home with a swimming pool and spa on the water. The home is new construction with art and sculptures and unfortunately not suited for children under the age of 16. Additionally, the pool does not have a safety gate and the waterway is directly behind the home making it not appropriate for smaller children. The home is located in the beautiful community of South Gulf Cove. A gourmet kitchen awaits the amateur and professional chef with gas Décor 6 burner cooktop, Viking oven and refrigerator, wine refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, built-in Meile coffee maker and Keurig as well. Gas fireplace in living room and master will help to set the mood for a quiet evening or take the chill off later at night. Comfortable leather couch with power recliner will make watching the large 58" HD smart TV a pleasure. Bring your Netflix account and enjoy your favorite shows. Master with en suite bath, king bed and patio door to lanai. Second BR with queen bed and sliding door onto private patio. Third BR with patio door onto sitting area on front of house, sleeper sofa with comfortable foam queen mattress. All 3 baths are full baths with showers- the master bath has rain showerhead. Quiet ceiling fans in all rooms and Dyson HEPA filter fan in living room and bedroom.
Enclosed heated private pool and spa for hours of bug free fun. There are inflatables in the garage for lounging and floating in the pool. The enclosed outdoor kitchen features a Napolean barbecue and refrigerator. The lanai is comfortably furnished with dining table and outdoor seating. Garage space is available for a car and the driveway will accommodate RV parking. Two bicycles are available in the garage for guest use- please bring helmets as needed. The home is located on the waterway and is appropriate for sailboats as there are no bridges from Charlotte Harbor to the house. Property has 2 electric boat lifts- one for guests to use. Bring your fishing rods and reels as there is good fishing off the dock or in the bay. Local guides offer fishing tours daily as well. Community boat ramp is one mile away. There are extended walking and bicycle paths throughout the neighborhood. Bocca Grande with beautiful beaches and quaint local shops is less than 10 minutes away. Englewood with it's beautiful beaches is 15 minutes away.

Fantastic Florida Vacation

We had a wonderful 15-day vacation here! Everything was first class! The house exceeded our expectations! Beautiful views with beaches close by. Mike was an excellent host! He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing!! He answered all our questions and requests, and gave great recommendations for places to visit.

A Fantastic Escape!

What an incredible place to vacation! The home is situated right on the canal with beautiful water and nature views. The neighboring homes are separated enough that you have plenty of privacy. The home is ideal for a festive vacation getaway. It's decorated throughout with pirate and nautical-themed art and accent pieces. The homeowners have clearly taken great care in decorating and furnishing their home. We felt at times like we were in a museum of treasures! The tile work throughout the home is beautiful, and all of the details, down to the lighting, the fans, the sinks, etc., were very carefully thought out. Beautifully designed! The outdoor lanai has a wonderful pool and hot tub, and has a very vacationy and tropical feel. This was the highlight for us since the views were incredible, and there was always some form of wildlife to observe (gators, birds, fish, turtles, the occasional boater). The home is also very conveniently located near marinas, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, beaches, and Boca Grande. We loved our time there and hope to be able to make it back soon!

Excellent well maintained and very tasteful decor.

The property was Excellent well maintained and very tastefully decorated . there was a slight issue with the hot tub but it was fixed immediately. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The appliances and fixtures were all high end. I rent a lot of properties and I have never rented the same place twice but I will definitely be renting this hose again.

Escaped the winter!

We stayed in this beautiful home for two months. With the pandemic still lurking we enjoyed a lot of time at the pool and outdoor area. The outdoor bar/grill space is great with a beverage fridge and large screen internet TV. The kitchen is very nice, though a bit short on some things (no measuring cups or spoons, no colander, no lids for most of the pans) but all in all it worked out great. The owner, Mike, is very responsive checking in via text regularly to ensure things were good. On one occasion when the central air wasn’t working Mike had someone there within a couple of hours to fix it. Another time when the pool heater broke, Mike worked hard to get the pool company to fix it—while it took them a week, Mike did what he could to speed it up. We overall very much enjoyed our stay in thi lovely home!

This home was perfect for my working vacation with my family. The space was nice and clean. I have zero complaints. Hopefully I'll get to come back down to the area for work again so I can stay here!

Beautiful New Home

The house is brand new and is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and low-key...just what we wanted. The beds are very comfortable, and there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, so we slept well each night. There are 3 bedrooms, however in the 3rd bedroom there is a pull-out sofa, and I didn’t see extra bed pillows...so if you need to use the 3rd bedroom, you would want to inquire about this. The kitchen is spectacular and has high end appliances and a huge island. With Covid, I planned to cook most of our meals, and it was a treat to have this kitchen. The kitchen did lack a few helpful items that we’ve had in other rentals—corkscrew, pizza cutter, handheld mixer, colander, whisk, baking pans, cookie sheet, blender. We were on vacation, so it wasn’t horrible that these items weren’t available, but in such a high end kitchen having some of these items would have been nice and expected. It was very nice that the owner provided toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, and soap for the bathrooms—these are items that you never know if you will have to add to your shopping list when arriving at a rental. The reclining sofa in the family room is super nice, and our family enjoyed watching movies on the large tv. There is no cable tv, and if baseball was being played right now, my husband would have struggled with that. The pool, spa, and lanai area were wonderful. There is an outdoor kitchen with a great BBQ grill. There are fans over the outdoor dining table and sectional, as well as the grill area. Fans are great in the Florida heat! There is a 3 car garage, with plenty of room for our vehicle and golf clubs. There is a garden hose just outside the garage, which made it very convenient to clean off the sand after a day at the beach. There were 2 beach chairs, 2 bikes, and several inflatable pool loungers. We purchased a beach umbrella and boogie board...which are now added to the toy collection in the garage. We brought a small soft-sided cooler, but also used the mid-size cooler that was in the pantry—super helpful for when we were out and about all day! The house is very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Smokin’ Jerry’s Tiki Hut restaurant in Placida has great pulled pork, crab cakes, and the Mahi Mahi with rice and beans meal is amazing. We also ate at Bobarino’s in Englewood (they offer a gluten free pizza crust and patio dining), also very excellent.

Great house!

We absolutely loved the house. New house with all high end finishes. Great pool area with outside kitchen. Just a great place and would highly recommend. The location is close to the beach and shopping. Owner checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.
