The county of Kauai does not permit this studio to have a kitchen. There is only a small fridge, coffee maker, blender and electric tea kettle.

Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below. With four new artificial turf and two new hard courts as well as 6 new pickleball courts added to this world ranked tennis resort, everyone is sure to find their groove. Onsite restaurant, pizza oven, and coffee shop, concierge and fitness center, there is little need to ever leave!

This spacious studio unit can accommodate up to 4 people making a great option for a family vacation at a reasonable rate! The county of Kauai does not permit this studio to have a kitchen. There is only a coffee maker, blender and electric tea kettle. The tile floors throughout are great for island living and upkeep. The lanai space will add a sense of serenity to your vacation as you gaze at the amazing mountains and garden views! The resort amenities will add to the excitement with two pools, a hot tub, cascading waterfall features, multiple tennis courts, a fire pit sitting area to enjoy the nightly sunsets and direct beach access.

Place was clean and amazing view. Amenities were outdated and veey minimal. No toaster and microwave. The resort fees were expensive and parking was horrible! Hard to find a parking spot that you paid for every evening. Walk to beach was really far and to pickleball courts. Not set up well.

The overall setting of this listing is very beautiful and the beach is perfect for the ability to snorkel with turtles and beautiful fish. There was a delay in responses from the host to our initial concerns, and delayed resolution to no resolution to several issues we had with this rental, including wifi access, nonworking tv for two days, tiny roaches and other biting bugs in our room every day, noisy air conditioner, stained sheets, no toaster/microwave, overfrosted freezer in minifridge, having to find and configure extension cord to get lamps to work and getting our car blocked in by valeted cars multiple times. We were willing to overlook a few of these things until they all started adding up. We expected more personal and hospitable service, but were only offered that we could try to find other lodging arrangements if we were unhappy. We were also given a response about having housekeeping stop by to change sheets, fix the cord we already figured out, and defrost the bulky ice from the freezer (but we would have to figure out what to do with our food). These responses were late after we had left for our excursions. We were also bounced between being told it was an owner issue and being told it was resort issue. In addition, having already unpacked and on a dream vacation that was filled with a preplanned itinerary, we had to decide to stop going back and forth with what felt like being bounced around for resolution, to putting our concerns about this VRBO aside

Pool, hot tub area is great. Unit was clean.Every night we came home from dinner the parking area was a zoo, no where to park, over run by valet parking and we were charged 20 per day for parking. I've never heard of a condo without a kitchen. This unit only has a kitchenette in the bathroom. No microwave or place to cook, limited flatware, only 2 spoons which were serving size. Tub was slippery and we couldnt get it to hold water.AC is just okay. We froze the 1st night as we slept in the bed by the unit. Next night was better as we were further from the unit.No ceiling fans in the unit or exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Very family friendly and fun. Spectacular views. I love the old Hawaii feel. The restaurant was fun and had great food, we ate there 3 times in 3 days. Beautiful property and room had dishes etc available which was great for a hotel room/studio.

I absolutely loved our stay. The space was all we needed and the view was amazing. We are at both restaurants on the property and they were both great. They golf cart rides from the beach were fantastic.

Great place to stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our time here. The room is pretty basic but has everything you need. It's not super modern or fancy, but that was perfect for us as we didn't really spend any time in the room except to sleep, and we wanted an affordable room so we could spend our money doing fun activities rather than spending it on a room. It was a tiny bit sandy in the room upon arrival, but it is right next to a beach, so I think that's understandable. They provided beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear, so we didn't have to rent those items. It was super nice! The view from the room is incredible!! Would definitely recommend!

Location, Location, Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and access to two of the most iconic beaches from this resort was fantastic. The view from the balcony of the whole of Hanalei Bay and mountain range was spectacular. The resort itself has a beautiful pool and huge hot tub/springs with waterfall which our condo was yards from. We were also near the lobby which gave us access to a small snack/coffee shop for breakfast. This location is also just 5-minute drive to Foodland where you can access fresh Poke/Ahi/Salmon daily at Costco prices. The only thing we were missing was a microwave to reheat food. Will definitely be back.

The resort is amazing. This is cheaply priced and you get what you paid for. The comforters are dusty and old, and need to go. No places for used dishes. Room wasn't dirty when we got there but didnt feel "clean" Room was dark and dingy. No large trashbags to dispose of garbage and leftover food at end of stay. We did strip off bedding at check out to make sure housekeeping laundered before next guests arrived. Small changes like new comforters and bathroom shelves too keep things organized and tidy. Hall closet should have shelves, not just 8 hangers. Need storage. trash bags prov3to dispose

Remedied check in challenges, listing mildly misleading

Called ahead to see if property was ready for early check in and was told it was. Room was 1/2 cleaned when we arrived. We assumed the cleaners had paused for a lunch break (we didn’t see them). We left again to give them space, assuming the cleaners would return and finish. We returned to the unit at dinner time- unchanged. Called and they went out a lovely person who did a great job cleaning it up. But we had to stay vacated for a couple more hours to achieve this, so really didn’t get into the room until well after dinner. Layout is comparable to a hotel room, no kitchenette. Note that the refrigerator and dishes are stored in the bathroom. Laundry is not in unit. View was lovely. Easy walk up. We were there for limited time, so didn’t try the onsite restaurants.

Beautiful resort. Vrbo owner was very helpful and responsive during our stay. The amenities at the resort were really nice. The room also came with beach chairs and snorkel gear which was very helpful
