Location right on the river was magic. Enjoyed using the fireplace - very cozy. Close to shops and activities and the fly fishing nearby was fantastic! The host easy to contact and very helpful.

We had a great stay, great location, plenty of fire wood to stay toasty and warm, lovely outlook onto the river and some classic DVDs for the kids to watch!

It was our sixth or seventh time back here. Love the place, always clean and tidy. The fire is a welcome sight after a days fishing.

A great stay as always at this beautiful property.Just a couple of things for the owner to be aware of though..1- I think a Starling had been nesting in the chimney of the old stove in the kitchen as I got back from fishing one morning to discover a bird in the house frantically trying to escape.. Maybe worth trying to bloke of the hole above the old stove.2- It would be great if you could get a new vacuum cleaner head for the vacuum as the old one gets blocked really easily as the head brush no longer spins and doesn't allow the suction from the motor to work very efficiently..I like to leave the place better than I find it and a good vacuum would help a lot.Hope this is helpful feedback..Other than that I love this little place!!

We absolutely loved our stay 10 out of 10 for everything we were sadden to leave kids enjoyed we enjoyed the owner of the home has made sure to make this property a home away from home for sure and we are already planning on coming back very very soon

The bach was very clean and well equiped.We did not need the fire, but if we had it was set and ready to light on our arrival.There were plenty of heaters to keep us warm for the cool evenings.Also plenty of warm blankets and duvets.The host Chris is very communicative and friendly.The location is ideal with lovely views of the river, and has easy access to walking tracks.Loved how this place has kept lots of its original character and been beautifully maintained.

We had a lovely time here, perfect for our little family. Really beautiful walk along the river and so nice to sit in front of a cozy fire. Particularly good hot shower given our cold weather!
