I’m always a little nervous staying somewhere new with small children, especially when they’re crawling around on the floors and touching absolutely everything! My son also has a dust mite allergy, so cleanliness is particularly important for our family... Even when dirt or dust isn’t immediately visible, we can usually tell from his symptoms how clean a place really is.I’m so pleased to say that this place was amazing. Everything felt genuinely clean and well cared for, and my son had no issues at all. It made such a difference being able to relax and enjoy our stay without worrying about the environment around the kids.We had a wonderful time and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend for families!

It was one the best houses we have ever stayed in Ohakune. The price was good, the check in procedure easy, super clean house, very comfy beds, good location and warm.

We loved staying at this property, really clean and tidy and great location. Plenry of bedroom space, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to any family with kids.

Great Stay

We had a great stay here for the week as a family of 4. The kids had plenty of room within the one bedroom, which comes with a bunk bed and spare single if required. The kids loved sharing the space, which also included generous storage. The master bedroom was comfortable, with the bed fitted with heated blankets for the winter. It didn’t need long as the house retained the heat really well. The living space was well sized and tidy, with the property also proving a number of games to play on the rainy days. A big plus for us was the drying room. This saved a lot of wet clothes being dragged around. The mezzanine floor is not available as may be implied by the photos. Everything is on one level but provides more than enough room. Overall we’d come back here again.

Everything you need.

Great little chalet with everything you need. Really well laid out so although it is a smallish footprint it feels quite spacious. Very well appointed, immaculately clean and good quality linens, great range of games and kitchen appliances. Only points of note the lock box is a little tricky to locate if you arrive in the dark as we did and BYO hairdryer. Overall fantastic!

Super Chalet for our skip trip.

We had a lovely, comfortable stay here. It was warm and cozy inside, while chilly outside. The drying room worked well for our ski gear (great just to reverse the car to the door and open the boot to transfer it straight in). The abundance of games for our kids was fabulous for keeping them entertained. The hosts were great to deal with as well.

Perfect stay

We loved our stay in Ohakune. The chalet was perfect for our crowd, which consisted of 2 adults 4 kids. Great location n super cute too. Everything we needed was there and it was so good to come back from the mountain to a warm and cosy setting. Good views of the mountain n just around the corner from town. Would definitely stay there again and thanks to Phil who was of great assistance.
