We're glad the house felt well kept and that the back porch offered a relaxing spot to unwind during your stay. We do want to clarify a couple of points about the dock: lake levels have been low recently due to drought conditions, which has made the channel harder to navigate for some boats, and we did have a conversation about this ahead of your arrival. There's also a neighboring dock available as an alternative if needed. As for the dock setup, there are actually two tie downs available, though we understand only one was easy to spot. We appreciate the feedback and will look at ways to make the dock features clearer for future guests.

The primary bedroom has a high-quality Beautyrest mattress, though we understand everyone has different comfort preferences. Lake color and water levels naturally vary with rainfall. NC had drought conditions this year, and while the home is in a cove, it can accommodate a pontoon. I’ve never personally seen leeches or received previous reports of them. I’m sorry the grill wasn’t in good condition. We try to keep that area maintained. Unfortunately, the previous guests left it full of trash, and we appreciate everyone doing their part to keep the area clean for future guests. The level front walkway is intentional to help maintain accessibility for guests using wheelchairs or with mobility challenges.
