Lakefront, two bedroom, full bath. Relax, swim, kayak & fish on Lake Lookout.

Relaxing two queen bedroom home, one full bath, washer and dryer, fully equipped open kitchen, fire pit, private dock, kayaks, life jacket, wi-if, lake front property. Public boat ramp close by. Enjoy fishing, swimming and relaxing in the foothills of NC. **due to fraud we do not accept checks, only credit cards or bank transfer through VRBO. Located in Claremont, NC. 4858 Longfield st.
We are not on lake Norman but about 20 miles from it. We are a lake between Norman and Lake Hickory. Very relaxing, big enough to ski, tube, swim but small enough to not worry about the big crowds.

This is our second stay here and it was just as pleasant as the first time. House is clean and fully stocked for a relaxing stay. We will continue to stay here when we are in town visiting our son and his family.

We came for Thanksgiving! Turned really cool so couldn’t do much outside but the views made it magical! The unit is the entire upstairs. The downstairs is just storage. Hardly no one around this weekend so we felt very secluded. Very relaxing! Would go back, would recommend!

Great Lake Retreat

Small families will enjoy access to the upper level of this updated house. Two nice bedrooms and one bath. The futon is made for a child or teen. The best part is the amazing lake view and access to kayaks and floats. We stayed at the house all weekend to spend time together at the lake!

Great for a relaxing getaway!

We enjoyed a very comfortable relaxing weekend. We enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning, and watching the birds and ducks as we sat on the deck in the evening as the sun went down. Very peaceful setting with beautiful views, easy access to water fun, and everything you need for a no-fuss vacation. We would definitely rent here again!

Perfect Getaway on Lookout Lake!!

The house and lake were perfect! We stayed for a week and had everything we needed! The house was clean, the kitchen well stocked, the beds were comfy, towels and water toys abundant. The wifi has good speed as well. The neighbors were extremely nice and full of tools for fishing!

Wonderful Place!

This was a wonderful place to stay! The house is very clean and comfortable. The view is beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful while we were there (midweek in April). We all loved using the kayaks to explore the lake, and our kids especially enjoyed the fishing equipment. One of the neighbors was so kind and came over to teach us how to fish. We were so grateful, because we had tried many times before this trip without success. Now that our kids caught several fish each day we were there, they have really started enjoying fishing! The diggers on the beach were also a big hit with our kids. It is close to great hiking trails and the Emerald Hollow Mine, which were also fun for our family. This house is in a gorgeous part of the country and we can’t wait to go back again!

Perfect week at the lake!

My husband and I were very happy with our stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. The fishing from the dock was great! We loved the location, the peace and quiet, and the unit was very nice and clean. Property owner was great!

Spotless place to relax

The views are gorgeous, the house was tastefully decorated, access to the dock and outdoor equipment was a lovely bonus, and there were friendly touches everywhere from the WiFi sign to the blankets. Also, I cannot say enough how clean this property was! One of the cleanest properties I’ve ever stayed at! You can tell the owner really takes pride in this property. The neighborhood was very quiet and this was the perfect retreat for our family over spring break! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend getaway

We wanted a nice weekend getaway for a birthday celebration specifically on the water. We really enjoyed sitting out on the dock and fishing. We would definitely stay here again. No issues with the house or stay.

Loved this house!

My son and I went for a small vision board get away, and we couldn’t have asked for a more inspiring location! The house was gorgeous (pictures online don’t do justice!), the views were insane! We were fortunate to have a sunny weekend. My son went kayaking for the first time, we had a great fire, and the sunrises are a perfect shot from the wall of windows leading out to the lake. We will be back, and so very appreciative of this experience!
