Quiet spot with lots of space just minutes from historic St. Mary's City and point Lookout. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place for anyone looking for a serene, relaxing home base during a visit to the St. Mary's area.

We had out of state family visiting and this house was perfect for family dinners on the screened in porch. We truly enjoyed our time!

We enjoyed the quiet but friendly neighborhood. The pier is fantastic with beautiful scenery, plenty of room for our whole family, and several species of fish caught! We appreciated being able to communicate quickly with someone regarding a few home issues.

Cozy and Comfortable

Our family of 3 traveled to St Mary’s for a 4 day swim meet. We were thrilled that the house was only 8 minutes away from St. Mary’s Aquatic Center. The cozy beds, fluffy bedding and soft cotton towels were the best! We had everything we needed to feel right at home. Thank you!

The house itself was clean and nice. Unfortunately, the screened in porch had big holes in the screens; the fire pit was piled with tree branches and sticks; pieces of boards were either missing or warped an accident waiting to happen on the deck. For a weeks stay we were left 1 roll of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, no dish soap. The pictures they posted showed a fenced yard. I called the management company and specifically asked if the property was completely fenced in and was told it was. It isn’t. Neither of the fish cleaning stations pictured are working and usable. We were told upon check in that we needed to take our trash to the dump and get rid of it! I have never heard of such a thing! The owners need to update the photos they are advertising with and be a little more accommodating with some of the cleaning products. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

From the Owner: "We are sorry the property did not meet your expectations. I would like to assure you that the safety of our guests is our highest priority. We scheduled repairs immediately upon learning of the two deteriorated boards in the deck. These boards have since been replaced completely. It appears that a visiting pet may have caused damage to one of the screen sections. We have created plans for screen replacement and an upgrade to install barrier panels to prevent this damage in the future.Thank you for your honest feedback."

Overall the property was in a great location for us. A quick 5-7 minute drive to St. Mary’s College for the State Championship swim meet. It had great space for 6 of us and 2 dogs. It’s not easy to find pet friendly options, so it’s great when we do find one. There was an issue with mold growing in the washer, which I was told was going to be fixed later this spring, but was unusable during our stay. There was an issue with ants in the kitchen, which I understand it’s spring, but they were in the cabinets & on dishes. I feel like the listing should be updated to let future guests know that certain appliances aren’t able to be used. We came in with an expectation to use the washer & then we couldn’t. We were also asked to wash the towels we used in said washer, but I was not comfortable doing that. Makes me wonder if the towels we used had been washed in the moldy washer as well. Overall it served the purpose we needed, we left early because we just wanted to get home to our own beds.
