Summary:
Beach Club, nestled in the "Caribbean" shores of Piney Point Maryland, guarantees guests an unforgettable resort style experience. As part of the Durham-Hythe Experience collection of homes, Beach Club guests can select from an array of elevated experiences that will ensure everlasting memories. Experience the sand between your toes and sunset cocktails on your own private piece of paradise without the jetlag.

The Space:
Beach Club offers 7 bedrooms (6 with ensuite bathrooms), large kitchen and island for 6 people, breakfast nook, decorative fireplaces, 22 seater beach facing dining table, lounge, billiards room, cabin, veranda, beach facing balcony, deck, outdoor grill, outdoor 10 seater dining table, fire-pit, sauna, treatment room, gym. On top of all of this add a 12-seat movie theater and a club house with bar and games exclusively for your use!

Guest Access:
Beach Club guests have complimentary access to bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards.

Other Things to Note:
Please note that due to insurance and county guidelines a property specific rental agreement will have to be completed prior to your stay. We welcome dogs but do ask that they remain off furniture and beds. We also have a pet fee of $50 per pet, per night. We allow events on a case by case basis and charge additional fees for these ($100 per guest over 14th guest at anytime per day).

Fantastic time at the Beach Club house. We rode the bikes, took long walks, and appreciated the two refrigerators to accommodate our group of 12.

June getaway

We all loved the property. We were greeted with the most welcoming presentation, great job.We were very disappointed that the grand gas stove was not working on all burners and had minimal flame on the others. We are a family that loves to cook together and that would have been a fun new piece of equipment for us.The ping pong room had a plank broken, creating a hole in the floor, plus it has a funky smell. Loved the idea of the room though.

Amazing!

Very attentive when we needed them and beyond our expectations when we arrived at the house. Check in was so easy and our family had so much fun. We actually had a small wedding with the 13 of us and they had their private chef come and cook dinner for us - Chef Erica was the best! Everything came out amazing! The views, the water, fishing, biking, kayaking, pool, ping pong
 game nights! We were able to do it all! And don’t forget the movie theater!

Wonderful Family Stay

Beautiful home with lots of room for all 11 of us to enjoy meals and hanging out. Great space to accommodate all ages from 4 to 80. Hosts were very responsive and made us feel welcome. The pavilion at the beach was awesome and we spent alot of time there. Great stay , great memories and all had a memorable time.

Memorable Family Vacation

Our family - me and my wife, our 5 daughters and spouses, 3 grandchildren and a couple dogs - spent a magical week at The Beach Club in July 2024. While you could nitpick the house, it was close to perfection for us. The house is large enough for people to “hide” if they wanted while offering plenty of intimate spaces for family gatherings. It truly felt like we were at our own 5-star resort and we struggled to take advantage of all the amenities offered. The private beach, dock, and cabana are spectacular and a lot of our time was spent there. The house itself is beautifully appointed and accurately represented in the photos. Gerry and Matt are great hosts and did everything they could to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Our family loved it so much that we’ve re-upped to return next year!

Stunning home and super nice people.

This was the nicest VRBO EVER!! The house was gorgeous. More importantly Matt and his partner have thought of everything to make your stay as nice as possible. Their suggestion of having Chef Erica, couldn’t have been better. Chef Erica was so nice and the meal was fabulous. It’s worth every penny
. and then some.

Exceptional stay!

From the moment we booked until the moment we checked out, Beach Club far exceeded our expectations! The home itself had more than enough space for 14 people of varying ages, and the outbuildings provided a plethora of activities for diverse interests. The second-storey gazebo was a particular favorite, as was the 12-seat movie theater (with reclining and massage chairs!), and the very well-equipped clubhouse. Beach Club's amenities delivered in every category - design, comfort, and function. The only 2 flags we have are: 1) Yes, the tap water smells sulphuric and may cause one to worry for those who aren't used to it, but rest assured the water is fine; and 2) The fridges don't have a built-in water filter, but that is easily solved by bringing water bottles from the store. Most of all, Matt and Gerry were exceptional hosts. They were communicative to my very many questions, accommodating, and on-point in their reminders. I highly recommend Beach Club, and we are already looking forward to a return in the near future.

Fabulous location for a friends weekend

Group of five friends in our early 50s spent three nights at the house in early October for a guys weekend. We loved it. The house is spacious and has a lot of character - an interesting mix of old and new. Very recently updated and had everything we needed in terms of a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a lot of space to spread out, with multiple living areas. The property feels like a compound, with several out buildings and access to both the river and a pond behind the house. The house is very close to neighboring houses, but still feels private (and those houses were empty during our stay). The beach is right across a quiet street, and we spent a large portion of our time on the dock, in the water, and hanging out in the beach pavilion. Really a beautiful spot. We would definitely return

Beautiful Property

Our family had a great stay that exceeded our expectations. The home is beautiful and has a ton of character. The in-person charm was even better than the pictures conveyed. Between the home, various out-buildings, and the water, there was a ton to do including kayaking, fishing, corn-toss, pool, ping-pong, and shuffle-board. Oh, and the theater is very cool. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, but the large dining room with the view of the water is spectacular. We would definitely like to return.

We all loved our stay. The property is beautiful and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days by the water with family. The host was welcoming and very responsive to our questions. We would not hesitate to return.
