Escape to Casa Vina Del Mar, our newly updated oasis in Surf Side/Potrero, Costa Rica. This exclusive retreat boasts a modern, minimalist design with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and accommodation for up to 8 guests. Enjoy Wi-Fi, air conditioning throughout, and a fully equipped kitchen including Coffee Maker, Airfryer, Microwave and Stove cook - top for all culinary adventures. Our home features artwork from local artisans and furniture hand crafted with the famous Guanacaste wood.


Relax in the pool surrounded by lush gardens, or after a day at the beach rinse off in our outdoor shower. The open-concept living area with a large TV and sliding doors opening to a covered terrace invites relaxation and socializing.

Just a 7 minute walk to the beach, our home has four beach chairs and 2 boogie boards for your days at the beach. Casa Vina Del Mar is close to supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. Explore nearby activities like snorkeling, sunset cruise, fishing charters, and world-class golf at Reserva Conchal. Surf enthusiasts will find Playa Grande and Tamarindo Beach within easy reach.

This is a great place to stay in Playa Potrero. The house is beautiful and a very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking and being together as a family for the holidays. The pool area is especially great for cooling off in the afternoon and spending time together having meals outdoors and playing games. The location is great near several beaches and lots of markets and restaurants. Our favorite beach was Playa Penca and we enjoyed Hemingways for sunsets. The beach House restaurant was great too. Be sure and check out the Monday night market in Flamingo for local art and food.

What a fantastic location and place to spend some time everything went great from the very beginning we were greeted by Federico who took the time to explain everything to us and show us through the residents and answer any questions. he met us on time. Communication on arriving was great. The layout and set up for the residents was perfect. beautiful pool which was cleaned every few days . we could clean some of the recent fallen leaves up ourselves with the skimmer. The few leaves would fall in during the day and evenings if windy. the kitchen was very well equipped. the sitting area inside with a large TV was nice to be able to use in the evenings. the rooms were very well kept spacious lots of new fresh Linens. The pool area was beautiful great options for sitting and lounging very comfortable cushion chairs as well as a table if you chose to eat outside and even had a plan outside. The yard had a large cement wall around it that kept most of the dust out of the pool area. There was also a hose if any dusted come in he could easily spray it down with the hose which we did utilize a couple times. It was a quick walk too many restaurants and sodas as well as a easy walk on the gravel roads to the beach which was beautiful of course. Check out was great and easy we loved how it was decorated. One of the nicest quaintest areas and very authentically Costa Rican that we have stayed on we would definitely return thank you for having us.

Fantastic set up with all the basic amenities provided. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and loved the house layout, incredible outdoor space and private pool. Howler monkeys were even hanging around during our stay! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!

Our family of six stayed in this VRBO for the first half of our trip to Costa Rica and it was the perfect spot. Julieth, the local property manager, was very quick at communicating and anticipated every need we might have along with giving us quicker directions to reach the property (which took about an hour from LIR). The house was located within an easy walk to a wonderful coffee shop and a slightly longer walk to the beach (although we chose to drive and it was just a few minutes). The house was well stocked with everything we needed, the bedrooms were perfectly sized with cool AC, and the pool was our favorite part! We had at least two meals a day out on the patio by the pool and missed this area the rest of our trip! We also had the incredible experience of howler monkeys walking down the power lines right by the house! 10/10 stay and we are already planning on returning.

As a multigeneration family of five we found the house and outside areas to fit our needs perfectly. The pool got a lot of use-a good size for a private pool. The howler monkeys and birds were a bonus.The check-in and check-out were easy and questions and concerns we had during our stay were addressed promptly.We are hoping to return at some time in the future.
