The place was not overly clean. Beds were made so poorly we questioned if the sheets were washed. Deck was so moldy and dirty that we never sat out there (it was a shame because the weather was nice). We were on the water (not next to the water). We did get a boat slip which was nice. The place needs an update and a good cleaning.

We're glad you were able to enjoy the boat slip during your stay. We have a Cleaning Service that cleans the full property, including washing the sheets and scrubbing down and sweeping the deck with every cleaning, so this is the first time we've heard concerns like this about the beds or deck. As for location, the property is waterfront with its own private dock, though it is a walk to the pier.

The house and property was nice and clean. Nice and spacious. Beds were great except pillows were not the greatest. Toilet stalls were wobbly and lights in master bedroom were out. I did the curtesy of replacing them bulbs and remote batteries for the host.It’s great for larger families and pet friendly.Property was not directly a lake front home, you had to walk down to the lake, but it’s accessible.

This is our second time staying perfect location.. was able to check in early .. lots of space for family to stay.. mattress in basement very hard pillows no good.. lots of spiders and bugs in the house could have used a cleaning on walls and corners where spiders were.. broken plastic chairs outside but we brought our own.. people staying next door about 9 cars took all space to use the front door so we had to unload through garage door with stairs

Traveled with three adult children, spouses, grandchild and a dog. There was enough space in this house for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The basement has three bedrooms and a full living space which will be great at the grandchildren get older. Additionally, there is a nice large deck to enjoy the summer weather and grill out. We traveled with two boat and the parking space available made it so easy for all cars, trucks and boats to be parked. There is also a three-car garage attached to the house. There were some items in the garage (beach items, floaties, etc.) as well as misc. items for up-keep of the house, but it was minimal and if we wanted to store our vehicles in the garage, we certainly could have. It was nice to have the option. House was clean and pet-friendly, Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. Host was always attentive in corresponding with me, and overall, this met all our family's needs was a great place for my family to stay.Should also mention, the location was perfect for running into town to grab groceries and two boat launches nearby. Everything we needed was just minutes away. Great location.

We're so glad this home worked so well for a multi-generational family trip, dog included. It's wonderful to hear the space, from the basement bedrooms to the deck and garage, gave everyone room to relax and made parking for cars, trucks, and boats so easy. It means a lot that the kitchen had what you needed and that the location made grocery runs and boat launches so convenient. Thank you for sharing such a detailed review and for taking great care of the home during your stay.
