Our 24/7 maintenance team has inspected and resolved each of these items. We have also coordinated with our pest control provider for an additional preventative treatment. • Resort Amenities: Because our property is an independently managed condo, access to South Seas Resort–exclusive packages—such as resort wristbands, water parks, and cashless resort dining—is not included. We outline these distinctions in our listing descriptions, though we understand how tempting those amenities look when traveling with children. • Island Ordinances & Nature: Sanibel and Captiva enforce strict conservation rules from May through October to protect sea turtle nesting, including packing up beach gear nightly and shielding outdoor lighting. Island wildlife and coastal insects (like midges/no-see-ums) are also natural parts of the local ecology. We are updating our pre-arrival welcome materials to highlight these seasonal regulations and island tips even earlier.
