Welcome to Ber-Wood Cottage on beautiful Manitoulin Island! We’re Ghislain (better known as “Juice”) and Leanne, your hosts for this cozy lakeside retreat.

Ghislain is a trades professor at Cambrian College, and Leanne is a Realtor and Team Lead for The Lewis Team – Royal LePage Manitoulin. We live just down the road from the cottage and are thrilled to be starting this Airbnb adventure together!

Leanne was born and raised on Manitoulin, and Ghislain has made it his home. We both love the island’s relaxed, laid-back vibe and can’t wait to share it with you. Whether you're here to unwind, explore, or reconnect with nature, we hope you’ll enjoy every moment at Ber-Wood Cottage.

This cottage holds even deeper meaning for us, as it is named in honor of Leanne's parents, Elwood and Bernice Lewis, who recently passed away. They had a long history in Dean’s Bay, having owned property there for many years, making this location a heartfelt tribute to their legacy and the many memories created in this beautiful place.
