Difficult to locate the entrance even with detailed instructions. The building entrance from the parking lot is located in the breezeway just past the mail boxes in the corner of the two attached buildings. Once in it is a pleasant apartment and comfortable.

Room clean. Dishes dirty. Garbage disposal did not work. Washing machine extremely noisy/broken?. GFI at island always tripped even without electrical load. Shower leaked on floor. Towels stinky ( left in washer too long). kitchen under equipped. Stuck in elevator two times, climbed stairs to 4th floor with luggage. Could you find cheaper or less TP? You were worried about keeping the towels in good shape. Cheapest we had ever seen. Bathroom sink is very slow to drain. Location was good for Scottsdale. It looks like the property maintenance company needs to be replaced.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the location convenient for Scottsdale and that the room was clean upon arrival. That said, we were disappointed to read this review, as none of these concerns were communicated to us at any point during your stay, despite our team checking in and remaining available through the booking thread for any issues or requests. Had we been made aware of concerns such as the garbage disposal, GFI outlet, shower leak, washing machine noise, towels, or kitchen items, we would have gladly worked to troubleshoot or coordinate maintenance as quickly as possible. Regarding the elevator, this is a shared building amenity managed entirely by the HOA/complex, and unfortunately is outside of our control. However, like all building-related issues, we can only report these matters to the property management team when guests notify us. We take maintenance and guest comfort seriously and cannot address concerns we are never informed about. Our goal is always to resolve issues in real time whenever possible, and we encourage future guests to communicate with us during their stay so we have the opportunity to assist. The apartment was close to Mayo/Phoenix which is what we were looking for. The space was suited to our needs. There was a lot of paperwork prior to the stay which suggested they were more concerned about their liability than guest comfort. The shower had only cold water and one kitchen drawer had no stops so it pulled all the way off when opened. I let the owner know about these issues when we left, and he replied, “noted.”

Hi Deborah, We were surprised by a 3-star rating given your checkout message, where you thanked us for “sharing your lovely apartment” and called it a “little gem.” For future guests reading this: Deborah let us know about the shower temperature and the kitchen drawer at checkout, not during her stay. Had we been informed earlier, we would have sent our team immediately to address both items, as we always do. Regarding the “paperwork”: we do not send stacks of forms. We have a standard rental agreement and house rules that are clearly posted prior to booking. These are common in professionally managed, furnished apartments and are intended to protect both guest and host, not to prioritize liability over comfort. In response to her message after departure, our full reply was: “Hi Deborah, This is noted, thank you for letting us know. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us! Safe travels.” Not just "noted". Our cleaner and maintenance team checked the unit the same day and confirmed that the hot water was working. Our team works very hard to provide a comfortable, safe, and responsive experience, and we take any concerns seriously. Unfortunately Deborah did not give us an opportunity to resolve concerns and instead gave this unfair review. To future guests: if you ever have a question or concerns, please reach out while you’re with us. We’re happy to make things right whenever we’re given the opportunity.
