Everything was great! Room was clean and in excellent condition, beautiful view of the ocean and high up enough to not hear all the noises down below. We were out on the balcony almost the entire stay :)

What an amazing experience! My family had an unforgettable vacation. The location is perfect, with plenty to do in the area. The beds were very comfortable, perfect for an afternoon nap. The balcony offered a wonderful view, ideal for our morning coffee. And our kids absolutely loved the beach and lazy river. Overall, it was a first-class experience. I would recommend it to any family and we look forward to returning.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Ocean Reef. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Our room was modern and nicely decorated and the view from our balcony overlooked the ocean where we enjoyed beautiful sunrises. There's a breakfadt cafe on the main floor that serves a good variety of breakfast choices. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Ocean Reef is in a convenient location and close to Myrtle Beach attractions. We plan on returning sometime in the future.

After checking in at the office, I went to the room (a separate location) and the key pad was not functioning. I called the office and they had to arrange for it to be fixed, which took over an hour. Later that evening, I went to get take out for dinner and upon bringing my food back to the room, I found that there was no dinner, flatware, or cups. I had to call the office back and notify them. The next day the items were delivered, for me to clean and unpack.Out of 6 showers, only 1 provided hot water. The rest of my showers were lukewarm at best. Cleanliness of the unit was good, but not great. This place was fine for my purposes, as I was traveling alone but would not return.

These are not the standards we strive to uphold, and we completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after a long day of travel. While we’re glad our team was able to eventually resolve the issues, they should never have occurred in the first place. We are actively reviewing the unit and addressing the hot water situation with our maintenance team. We’re also working with housekeeping to ensure all essentials are stocked, clean, and ready for immediate use upon arrival. We appreciate your honest feedback—it helps us improve both the property and the guest experience. While we're sorry to hear we didn't meet expectations this time, we hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide the quality stay you deserve.
