The location was great, right next door to a resort where my relatives were staying, and easy access to downtown. It was a little smaller than I imagined, based on pictures of living room in particular. The view is of the building next door, not beach-facing.

This is incorrectly listed as a BEACHFRONT property. While the site is technically on the beach, access to the beach is marred by a massive problem other reviews off vrbo have highlighted since 2024. There is knee deep and waist dept water that is Marsh runoff that’s probably a .10 mile hike to beach access. It was disgusting and wasn’t disclosed anywhere on this listing or in the booking process. Thankful I have been lifting weights and working out for 3 years since I had to carry my family’s 20 pound wagon full of beach chairs, beach gear, toys, snacks, everything a family of 4 would need. Not to mention my younger children who had to wade through chest deep nasty water to walk to the beach. When asked for a partial refund twice, management never replied to me. The location is convenient to area restaurants and the condo itself was pretty well stocked. Those two features are the reasons this review was a 2, not a 1 star.

As the complex is located directly on the beach. We are very sorry to hear about your frustration with the beach conditions during your visit. The tidal pools that occasionally form along this stretch of beach can certainly impact direct access to the ocean depending on tides, weather patterns, and seasonal conditions. There is no marsh.We understand how difficult and disappointing this was for your family, especially while transporting beach equipment and assisting young children. The county has installed a bridge walk over for the tidal pools. We sincerely apologize that you felt this information was not adequately communicated prior to your arrival. Guest feedback like yours is extremely valuable, and we are actively reviewing how we describe the beach access in our listing so future guests have a clearer understanding of the natural coastal conditions that can occur at certain times. We also apologize for the lack of timely communication regarding your request during your stay. That is not the level of responsiveness we strive to provide, and we understand your disappointment. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and for recognizing the positives of the condo itself. Your comments will help us improve both our communication and guest experience moving forward.

Overall the property and unit met our expectations. Our only real complaints are, upon arrival the door was open/ not latched. We did get up to the unit about 10 minutes before the check-in time, so we waited until 4 before entering. The floors were wet, indicating that the maid had just been there, I assume the door didn’t shut behind her. We did learn that if you let it close itself it needed an extra pull to latch and lock. No a big deal, just a little unusual to check your condo for people before you enter on check in. The more concerning is that the last morning we woke to the door again unlatched/open as if someone had tried to open it but didn’t pull the door closed after. The chain on the door kept the person, hopefully just the maid, from entering. The door was definitely closed when we put the chain on before bed.
