We had a great trip. Location is central to all the activities we did and to the wineries we visited. Kitchen was small if you do a lot of cooking, but outdoor porch made up for that. We were 9 people and very comfortable. Communication with the hosts was outstanding. We would definitely rent this space again if we come back to the area.

Beautiful house in Geneva

Maureen’s property was beautiful & exactly as described. We were given a tour of the house when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a better house to accommodate 10 of us celebrating our friends bachelorette party.

Charming and So Lovely

What an incredible find! The hospitality from Maureen and James was so personal, the upkeep of the inn extraordinary ,and the furnishings from linens , kitchenware and bedding were impressive. You just can't go wrong !! Very classy inn with beautiful and spacious grounds, surrounded by peace and quiet . What a place to return to every time we visit Geneva .

Wedding weekend

Our experience staying at the William Smith Inn was excellent. Our daughter had our rehearsal barbecue on the expansive porch and the following day wedding pictures were taken on the grounds and inside the beautiful house. The house is an amazing historic structure. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful on our daughter's new adventure combining our two families! Thank you for making our family feel at home and helping create memorable moments!!

Beautiful home

Maureen’s home is beautifully sited in one of Geneva’s better neighborhoods. The small kitchen was well outfitted- not only for our group but to serve the dinner party we hosted while there. The beds were comfortable and the linens were a nice quality. A few extra touches- better and matching hangers-, as well as an upgrade to the living room (house sleeps 12 but seats four in the living room) would go a long way to make this a top notch place. I would return however- Maureen was a great host!

Outstanding property

Rented the house for hall of fame weekend at Hobart and truly enjoyed our stay. The house and grounds are very spacious. Each room and bathroom is huge, with 11 foot ceilings and built to last forever. The mattresses, linens, soaps (Beekman!) and dishes are all top of the line and make things so comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the porch and grounds as the redbuds were blossoming. Owners have paid attention to detail, are on site, and are great although we had everything we needed and did not have to bother them. Highly recommended and will return as often as we can.

Stunning

This property is so gorgeous! It’s everything we wanted and more. The rooms are all large and comfortable with spacious bathrooms and thick walls for privacy. Maureen and James were incredible and attentive to every need we had! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay!

The house was beautiful, rooms and bathrooms were all very clean! The front porch was a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and relax. The owners were so nice, gave us a tour and told us about the history of the building!

Perfect, Magical, Dream Come True

The property and the house look even better in person than the pictures on line. The rooms are magnificent yet cozy. It is like having a house away from home. You immediately feel at home and at peace. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and met all of our needs immediately. They were gracious, caring and as excited for the wedding as my family and I were. If I could have written about a perfect setting and experience for this wedding weekend, it would not have been as wonderful as the one we enjoyed at The William Smith Inn with Maureen and James. It was the ideal backdrop for the bride, her bridal party, family and friends to gather to get ready for the wedding and take pictures. Beautiful Find Close to Town

This home was absolutely beautiful! We stayed here for my wedding and wanted the ‘getting ready’ photos to be in a classic beautiful space. Everything was clean and the property was less than 5 minutes to downtown. We were welcomed with delicious shortbread and given a tour of the home! Would definitely recommend this property!
