Our hosts were amazing and so sweet. The home is beautiful and historic! The park across the street is so scenic and relaxing.

Restore older house beautifully decorated. Lotta of stairs to negotiate and multiple throw rugs. This gave the house, authentic character, but added tripping hazards for those who have balance issues.The host was extremely easy to work with

Truly beautiful home and the perfect place to get ready for my wedding! The bed was so insanely comfortable and I wish I lived out of Wichita so I had more excuses to come back to stay in this house.

This historic house had many rooms to relax in. For a large group you could gather easily and also find many places to split up and find solitude. The library had books and old albums, The rooms were spacious and expertly decorated. An amazing and relaxing respite after a day of activities and sightseeing. The Riverside park neighborhood was scenic and family friendly and conveniently close to the exploration place and keeper of the plains. Elise was helpful and answered all our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals. We will definitely consider staying here again when we visit Wichita.

My two best friends from high school and I had a lovely weekend at this property. It's so unique and beautiful! Amazing 1920's design features including original tile work and art deco windows. Lots of interesting art throughout the house. Very comfortable beds, nice and cool (AC works great!!), lovely neighborhood. Communication with the owner was outstanding. She also left us some treats which was greatly appreciated. :) Highly recommend! I believe my friends and I will meet here again sometime!

Host inquired about what kind of snacks we liked! We are close to 75 rentals all together and have NEVER been asked before! Told her we were there for a tennis tournament so asked for healthy snack and waiting for us were nuts, dried apricots, bananas and tangerines. What a first impression! Home situated across from a lovely park with absolutely no street noise. It is a lovely older home that has been lovingly maintained. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch every morning. A short drive to downtown and museums. Highly recommended.

Great place!

This house is amazing! It is right across the street from a beautiful park. There is plenty of room in the house for everyone in the family! The little snacks were great also. Everything is comfortable and the location is very safe. It is still very close to downtown. Very clean. This is right across from the park. It is magical really. Zoo, park, playground, splash pad, walking path, river all across the street. 3 minutes from St Francis hospital. And 3 minutes from all the downtown. This is probably a 3 hour drive from Kansas City if you are coming to the area for FIFA. Overall, this place is beautiful and would absolutely stay again!

Fine, classic Riverside house

I really enjoyed staying at this house in Wichita, Kansas. This is a classic, Riverside house, meaning it's older, possibly late-1800s but maybe newer. Some remodeling has been done, for example to add internet television in the bedrooms and parlors, but you'll see remnants of the original house in the solid wood doors and high ceiling and pedestal sinks in the bathrooms. Water pressure was excellent and the hot water was HOT. I used just one bedroom, the master, and the bed was very comfortable, with a view of Riverside Park out the main window. The parks being so near--across the street--made for easy walking, disc golf, watching boaters, etc.The street sees very little traffic. It's brick and seems to serve the residents almost exclusively.The hosts, Elise and Molly, were very welcoming and responsive to email questions. I would definitely stay here again!
