“Neon Fish” is a private, luxurious 2 bedroom home that sits proud on a beautiful rocky cliff on the Sonoma Coast with big ocean drama, an endless sky scape and wonderful wildlife home to whales, seals, sea birds and more.

As you enter the house, you’ll be immediately and pleasantly surprised by the spectacular ocean views at every turn!

The open floor plan on the upper level is contemporary, comfortable and flows easily from living to dining so a couple and/or small group of friends can enjoy each other while cooking, listening to music and relaxing near a fire.

The kitchen is easy to navigate, complete with spices, oils, condiments, kitchen gadgets galore, an outdoor grill nearby and everything you could possibly need to make a delicious meal.

On the lower level of the home, Neon Fish has 2 bedrooms separated by a spiral staircase for ultimate privacy. They are equally nice rooms with floor to ceiling ocean views, their own decks, en suite bathrooms and comfortable high end bedding.
*Door on the lower level/ocean side of the home separates the bedrooms and opens to a private bluff—Truly magnificent!

When you're not admiring the views from inside the home, enjoy the property's outdoor space—A private courtyard with seating, fire pit, a backdrop of beautiful coastal trees and more ocean views.

For dusk/evening glamour and a change of mood…The Neon Fish vintage art piece fills the living room with a pink glow and the outdoor cliff lights highlight the rocky shore. The stargazing is incredible and the moon on the Sonoma Coast is beyond beautiful!

The spa/sun room is one of the favorite rooms in the house. It has a large soaking tub w/ recycling fresh water that stays heated at 103 degrees, sliding doors that open wide to the ocean view, a moon eclipse sconce light over the tub and a rain shower to complete the experience. It’s the perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of the coast any time of the day or night.

Without needing to get in a car—Take a bluff walk to StillWater Cove Beach and across the way you’ll find an old growth redwood/ fern forest trail with creeks, birdsong and a variety of flora and fauna.

Just like the photos
The house is beautiful and looks just like the photos.. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The owner was extremely responsive when we contacted her for an issue and offered options for resolving the problem immediately. All in all, we would highly recommend staying here.

The Neon Fish and the surrounding ocean view was a spiritual experience at the highest level!!!
It was the most modern, exciting and beautiful experience we have ever had with some 62 other homes on the north coast. A once in a lifetime experience and we have lots of experience. Hated to leave, Perfect in every way except at night, would have like a little TV or music.)

Beautiful Beach Stay
The home is just a gem and better than the photos. Note it’s right on the coast so if there are any sudden changes in weather you may experience some bugs. The home is so beautiful and the host so communicative that you may not even mind, but sharing for folks with any sensitivities as was the case for one person in our group.

Amazing Views – Excellent Location
Amazing Views – Excellent Location The views and location are amazing! That’s what you are paying for. We visited in December with our daughters and had a great time – even with the rain for much of our visit. The check-in process and communication were great. I would encourage the owner to address the following: -Linens: The quality of the bedding could improve along with additional pillows. Also, there are not enough bath and hand towels. The property has a great soaking tub – but only a total of 4 bath towels in the master/primary bedroom. This resulted in a load of laundry each day. -Cleanliness: Needs improvement. For example, lots of cobwebs on the windowsills and the large round ottoman upstairs had numerous stains on it – definitely not inviting to lounge on. We would also suggest an entry mat to prevent tracking debris into the house. -Kitchen: The kitchen has lots of stuff – but not well put together. Sometimes less is more. -Refrigerator: Some people like finding left over and out of date items in the fridge – we do not. My wife dedicated a shelf as “do not use”. Again – we may be unique in this way of thinking. (Other reviews noted that there was left over items – so this was not a surprise) -Overall Maintenance: As a whole – the property has some overdue interior and exterior maintenance items. The owner/manager should address the items noted above to balance the value/price of the experience.

Unique and stunning property
Perched directly on the cliff edge with beautiful views from every room, this property is the quintessential north coast getaway. The home is quiet and romantic - perfect for a getaway with your special someone. At night there are powerful flood lights that illuminate the dramatic ocean waves crashing on the surf - an amazing touch that allows you to enjoy the picturesque vista even at night. The spa room is an absolute highlight with broad roll back doors that open up to for views the pacific cliffs and the crisp sea breeze. The home design is fantastic, magazine worthy and all the appliances and the many fireplaces are super user friendly. My girlfriend and I loved everything about this place and have already recommended it to all our friends. A truly iconic property on the north coast.

My husband and I fell in love with the Sonoma Coast many years ago. Giving Neon Fish the lift it needed has been a labor of love and at the same time, a wonderful place to rest, relax, explore the Sonoma Coast and basically get away from it all. Andrew loves to cook so having an organized kitchen with everything one may need to make a delicious meal is really important to him and we think might be important to others too. We're both nature lovers, hikers and explorers so spending time at Neon Fish as a couple or with friends is and has been a lot of fun!
As a premier host, I personally pride myself on having 90 plus five star reviews in just a 2 year period of time. I take pleasure in sharing our home and pleasing our guests and am always available by email/text/phone if they have questions before and/or during their visit. My goal is to make sure everyone has an absolutely wonderful time!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our lovely neighborhood is gated, safe and has just 5 other homes on large lots for complete privacy. Neon Fish is the last house at the end of a short street facing the Pacific Ocean which is the prime location. Our favorite ritual after dinner.....walking the neighborhood and then heading back to Neon Fish to catch the sunset and sit by the fire pit.

The ocean views seal the deal! But more than anything we'd like you to feel like our home is your home when you visit so attention to detail is really important. We believe a lovely experience in a VRBO home is one where you can navigate the home easily and drop right into celebrating, relaxing etc etc. I think we've accomplished just that!
It's been a nice experience sharing our home with others who appreciate our esthetic, the privacy and more than anything....nature's magnificence!
