Enjoy the peace and tranquility of Millennium Falcon DB! Originally built as an homage to Star Wars we have faith fully renovated our home to welcome guests from around the galaxy. We want you to feel the craftsmanship throughout our home. While taking in the views, fun and peacefulness of the coast! Let us share our home with you, you will absolutely fall in love with it like we have.
We want you to take in the panoramic, open ocean views from Bodega Bay to Pt. Reyes. Our views include Tomales Bay, Lawson’s Landing, and Bodega Head. Use our telescope to view the whales, fishing boats and shorebirds travelling through the bay! All this from most of the rooms in the house. From the comfort of the master bedroom, cast your eyes over Dillons Beach and Lawson’s landing! Lastly, come prepared to see the most amazing sunsets and stars, as Dillon Beach is a Dark Sky community devoid of light pollution!
When you drive up, we want you to feel safe and taken care of. The Vacation Manager lives up the street and always has someone on call. There's 24/7 security, wide parking spaces and the fastest home electric car charger available! Yes it works for all cars, not just those Teslas.
As you enter through the sand room there is a closet to store your coats and a cubby storage for all your beach toys. For the surf, boogie, and skimboards, please park them outside next to the electric car charger. Inside you'll climb up the antique cylindrical staircase entering the upper chamber! And don't worry, that wooden staircase has been fortified to be stronger than when it was originally built in 1978!
You’ll be walking across beautiful maple wood floors, where on your left is the gourmet kitchen filled with the tools needed to create a feast. You’ll have high end ranges, a SubZero refrigerator, wine cooler, and lastly Breville appliances at your disposal. All to make your cooking enjoyable! The pleasures of working with Henkels knives, All Clad professional cookware and a fully stocked kitchen with all the bells and whistles will make you forget your here for the beach. Luckily the kitchens have windows to the ocean right in front of you! Beautiful quartz counters create a dramatic atmosphere that will help you infuse love into your cooking! And we all know love is what makes food taste spectacular!
When you've tracked some dirt onto your clothes, next to the kitchen is the laundry room, It has a large capacity washer and dryer. These whisper quiet appliances are located next to a stainless steel sink for those handwash delicates. Yes, our guests can marvel at Bodega Bay while doing the laundry!
Step into the main living room your breath will be taken away. You’ll experience full ocean views that will overwhelm your sense of grandeur. Our living area is for enjoying each other's company, watching TV, movies in 4K, and lastly listening to music. You will relax on our comfortable furnishings while listening to music through the Sonos system.
Our home has Youtube TV, Music, and Plus streamed over a 5G Network. Search from an unlimited supply of movies and music at your fingertips. All instantly available either free or rentable. If you bring your own movies, just stream them over Airplay or Cast them around. Remember to put those devices down and enjoy the beach; we know the Dillon Beach Internet is so fast, it can be addicting!
We want to keep our home warm and cozy, so there’s central heating and cooling. But If you want something different, you can fire up the gas fireplace with the electronic remote. It will warm up the room in no time! If you are hot, you can step out onto the wrap around balcony to enjoy the ocean breeze. As there is nothing between you, the beach and the bay!
To the right of the staircase, is the Star Wars room. There are Tie Fighter night lights, Death Stars blankets, and other things for you to discover! There’s a single and double bunk bed to rest in. With plenty of room for up to three people!
Also on the right of the staircase, there is a large full bathroom with two pedestal sinks. The opal blue sinks are resting atop James Martin vanities. They will remind our guests of the deep blue sea just outside!
At the end of the hall, is the master bedroom with wall to wall ocean views. You'll feel at home with the XL rattan swivel chair (for your morning coffee), beautiful decor, folding desks, and the plush king bed! Our guests are going to need various sets of clothes, to go from wine tasting, beach bumming, surfing, fishing, hiking etc... That's why all the bedrooms in the house have huge built-in shelves and/or dressers to store your clothes and valuables. In front of the kitchen, our guests can dine together on the dining table while enjoying the expansive, full ocean views. You’ll have the choice of colorful, artistic dinnerware for casual dining, as well as, the seafood themed dinnerware and wine glasses for fine dining. The table is nestled above the living area so that those watching tv can't interfere with the adult conversations. There is also an outdoor deck to relax on if you just want some sun away from the wind.
Take that coastal hike down to the tide pools. Since our home is in a private community, you can enjoy watching the wild life, such as deer, quail and rabbits run along. Hike along the incredible coastline, experience the full ocean views and fresh ocean breezes.
