Spectacular Estate in the Hamptons

Extended family stayed for a week at the WAINSCOTT ESTATE, a fantastic house at a great location between Sag Harbor and East Hampton. The family ranging in ages from 22 to 80 enjoyed the pool, tennis court, game room and spacious layout, enough privacy and room for all. Owner was super helpful and accommodating, I strongly recommend this beautiful house.

The home was beautiful, Robert was an amazing host, easy to connect with, incredibly helpful, and the home was clean, modern, and the most comfortable beds in the world. It was perfect for our family, spacious, warm, and welcoming. We loved it.

Great week in the Hamptons. Everything was fabulous except sofas were to low for elderly parents & my sister didn’t like her mattress. The pillows were wonderful mom wants to buy them. No one wanted to leave!

Wonderful stay in Wainscott

We had an amazing stay at Rob’s place. The home is gorgeous (the photos are entirely accurate and the place is even better in person). We loved using the pool, tennis court and basket ball court. All of the bedrooms are really spacious with super comfortable beds. The home is a quick drive into Sag Harbor and also a quick drive to the beach. Rob was always available and super responsive. An excellent host. We would definitely stay again!

Location and house were wonderful

So we were a family of 14. Ages from 11 to 86. The pool and the tennis courts were a huge hit. We hit balls every day. So much fun. The pool was so nice and the pool bottom was so smooth but not slippery. One of the best pools I have been in. The rooms were great, only suggestion in master is a chair for putting on shoes. The home looks like it has all been repainted and looked great. Kitchen is huge and giant stove was a pleasure to work on. Having only one fridge was a little tough with that many people (never went out to dinner cause of concerns for my folks) but we used the giant cooler in the garage and put all drinks in there. The location of the home is wonderful far enough away that you feel like the only people in the Hamptons but only 10 min drive to town. Robert the host was so easy to contact and always answered our questions quickly. The home has a full mostly finished basement. Would be a great place for a media room and game room. Here is hoping that happens someday. Oh and loved that there was cleaning supplies available to us. That is strangely rare in some rentals. But so needed. With that many people you need to clean up from time to time so loved that. All in all we all enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Thanks again for letting us borrow your home for a week.

Great stay!

We stayed at this house for a week in June. The house is large and beautiful and we had a great vacation! There was plenty to do at the house (pool, tennis court, ping pong, etc) and in the area. Robert was extremely responsive and very helpful. The only thing I’d note that we weren’t ready for is that the living room sofa was quite low to the ground and 3 of the 4 people traveling with us who were in their late 60s (my parents and in laws) had a hard time getting up from it. Probably not a big deal for most groups but thought it was worth mentioning.

Fabulous Family Getaway

The house is absolutely beautiful, spacious and has everything to make all members of the family happy. We played tennis and ping pong every day and savored the quiet outdoors in the country. We also loved seeing families of deer and wild turkeys stroll by while having lunch on the back deck. The house is within short driving distance to East Hampton and Sag Harbor towns. We also regularly drove to various beaches each day. Robert is a perfect host and very responsive. He was a pleasure!! This escape was exactly what we all needed and we look forward to booking it again soon.

Great Hamptons Stay

We rented this house with another family and our two kids under two. The house was spacious and had ample space for the kids to play and the adults to work without interruption. The basketball court/tennis court looked awesome and we wanted to use them, but it snowed right before we arrived so unfortunately we were not able to enjoy them. The house is conveniently located and is a quick drive to both Sag Harbor and East Hampton shops. The house was well appointed with toiletries, towels, cooking utensils, and pantry items. We would love to come back in the summer to use the beautiful pool and basketball/tennis court. Highly recommend this house!

Luxury Fit for Royalty

Rob is such a gracious host! He is easily accessible and very concerned about his guests comfort. The house is simply gorgeous and so well appointed. I only wish that my stay was in the summer to enjoy the tennis court and lovely pool and grounds. Would love to stay there again and wholeheartedly endorse this lovely property.

New Years Getaway

We rented this property for a New Years getaway with the family we are in a pod with. The house is huge, and the rooms are big. We had 2 under 2 years of age, and 2 4 year olds. The main floor offered a lot of space for the children to play. The basketball court and tennis court were awesome for days it was not raining. We came during the off season but still got a good amount of use out of the outdoor amenities. It is a short drive into town where you can find everything you could possibly need. The house is well stocked with basics and all the cookware you will need. We brought our own children's toys / utensils and tableware as we had such young kids. The house is off a main road set back a ways, we took long walks / scooter rides up and down the driveway on multiple days to let the kids run off some energy. It feels like a very safe location, would love to go back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool!

New owner

The pictures of this home do not give justice to how beautiful Robert has made it. The grounds are breathtaking and the home is more spacious than depicted. The furnishings are new and beautiful. Mostly, the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in at an Air BNB. We enjoyed Roberts newly purchased home, however, there are things that we encountered during our stay that did not meet our expectations for the price of this home. We had 2 broken bathroom shower knobs, a leaking toilet, a leaking sink in the master bath. Also, although Robert did let us check in 30 min early , the home was not clean. The garbage was full, fruit flies were coming out. The master bathtub and shower had not been cleaned. There was a refrigerator full of food from the previous guests as well as the pantry was full of old food that we had to throw out. We had difficulty locking the door at night, but Robert was there the next day to fix it. Robert is a responsive host that maybe should have waited a little to get his home ready for renting. He has some minor things that need to be repaired but to be fair he literally purchased it about 3 weeks ago and I think he is finding out the problems as the guests are encountering them. Robert was a pleasure to work with and in time I believe he will complete his repairs and this will be a top notch rental for The Hamptons.

Great House

Property was great, but a little raw and not much of a homey feel as the house was just purchased and has not been decorated yet. Could have had a few more amenities like soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc, but overall Robert was very helpful and easy to get in touch with making our stay great.
