Gleaming granite counter-tops in kitchen and bathrooms. Vessel bathroom sinks and beautifully furnished. Grass cloth wallpaper and so much more. Central air conditioning with built in de-humidifier and air purifier, covered parking, elevators.

Kona By The Sea offers a sandy private beach area and beautiful granite BBQ area, private pool, hot tub and salt water public pool just next door. The condo provides beach chairs and umbrella. Escape the heat with our newly installed central air conditioning and take advantage of the in-unit washer and dryer for your laundry needs whilst island-hopping on your grand Hawaiian vacation.

The Kailua-Kona Coast has the most colorful and spectacular pink, lavender, and orange sunsets in Hawaii. Maybe you'll be lucky and spot the famous 'Green Flash” at sunset, as the sun dips behind the horizon. You can watch the incredible Kona sunsets right from one of the decks or the lanai, as well as the cruise ships, para-sailing, whales and dolphins.

The Kailua-Kona Historical Village is a short drive (or 3 mile walk) from Kona By The Sea. The Village is very quaint, with lots of charm and good shopping right along the water's edge. Some of the activities you can find in the Village and nearby are: beaches, luau's, farmer's markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing
Just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. There is so much to do to stay active, or you can do nothing and just lounge on the beach. The Ali'i Marketplace just across the street for you to brose through the stalls of local vendors for your souvenirs or produce.

Perfect location

We loved the sight and sound of the waves, an evening swim in the pool, the quiet but convenient location of this condo. We look forward to returning as soon as possible.

A pleasure to stay here---

We stayed 7 weeks in July and August 2021. This is a nice property and well maintained. The view from the 407 lania is A+, as good as it gets. Nice size for 2 people. Comfortable unit and bed. Good kitchen area. A few improvements could be made such as better lighting for personal reading but all in all this is a good place and we hope to return. Nice people work the property. Enjoy!

Needs comfort on the lanai.

The oceanfront view is spectacular, as others have stated. The condo is comfortable and well stocked. Our main disappointment was the lanai furniture. There is a lovely teak dining table and chairs but nothing else. The chairs are not comfortable for long sitting and with the view we wanted to spend all our time on the lanai. There is plenty of room for a comfortable outdoor sofa or 2 chaise lounge chairs so renters could stretch out comfortably and watch the waves. We had to sit inside for this and the living room furniture is showing the wear from constant use. Otherwise, an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful ocean front condo

We have stayed at this complex for many years but this is the first time using VRBO. The lanai is ocean front and hands down has the best view in Kona. The ceiling fan on the lanai is fantastic. I planned the trip with my mom and booked the unit based on the description that there was a king size bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed. The sofa bed was broken and not functional. I contacted AA Oceanfront Rentals and they were extremely attentive and accommodating. They did give a small refund for the unusable sofa bed. If the sofa bed was as described I would have given 5 stars. Sharing a bed with my mom was definitely not optimal.

Great location. Beautiful views. Complex is clean & well cared for. Well appointed with kitchen items, linens, comfortable bed w/ quality pillows. Very good tv & cable options. My only complaint is that I believe it needs a deep cleaning. Management company was very good at communicating & everything went as planned.

Nice, large condo very relaxing with great view and large balcony

Bathtub/showers do not have safety bars. Master bathroom and kitchen have poor lighting. Wonderful landscaping, pool, and sand area with chairs and tables. A quiet, relaxing, beautiful place.Balcony very nice. Would rent again.
