Great place to stay in Kona!!

Host was great and easy to communicate with, location was perfect (with gated parking and entry) and the condo and surrounding property were well kept and overall fantastic. I usually hate sleeping on sleeper sofas, but the one they had was comfortable. If I ever come back to Kona, I will definitely stay here again.

Great Condo

Fully Equipped Apartment with lots of beach stuff and boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkeling. Very nice gardens, we loved pools and sunsets.

We have always enjoyed our stays at the Casa de Emdeko! This location was nice. The condo was clean and had adequate supplies. I would suggest an extra set of sheets for the king bed for those who have a long term stay. Other than that, we loved our stay in 129. Thank you Warren!

We were pleasantly surprised by this unit. There have been some updates that aren't reflected in the photos and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is a beautiful ocean front property with two pools and a great beach area and cabana with grills. I've stayed at Casa de Emdeko once before and I prefer this unit as it's ground floor and has easy access to parking and you can walk right out the lanai to the pool. Since it's in the middle of the property it's just a short walk to the beach and salt water pool. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the Kona area. Mahalo for sharing your space with us!

Relaxing getaway

Great location with everything we needed! Warren was great at last minute arrangements! This property would be good for just hanging out at the pool, sightseeing since it is close to Alii dr. Sitting on the property watching the sun set every night. A great relaxing not loud condominium!!! Would rent again and refer to friends and family!!! Room was on lower floor and right next to one of the pools!!! Loved every night and day spent there! Thank you Warren

Casa by the Sea

We just recently finished our 5 th trip to the Casa and our second stay in UNIT 129. We love the overall property and this unit in particular. It is extremely well equipped with lots of beach chairs and umbrellas etc. The TV and dvd player are basic but work very well. The fridge has an ice maker!…not all of them do. The king sized bed is a great one. All in all a great experience at the best kept secret in Kailua Kona.

Great little Condo in Perfect Location

Warren was very responsive to any questions and needs. There was a mix up with the house cleaners but Warren immediately took care of it. The last time we stayed in this unit it was quieter. This time the upstairs neighbor was quite loud moving furniture around and up each morning at 6 stomping around. Everything in the unit was great. Well stocked and ready for the beach.

That's odd, we've had the Condo over 20 years and have never had a complaint about noise with the resident above us. We are here now two weeks later and absolutely no issues with noise.

A great condo for a fair price

The condo was clean and well-stocked with basic staples (salt, pepper, oil, spices, coffee filters - great while in Kona, baggies, dishes, pots, pans, dish washing detergent, pool equipment, etc). The A/C cooled only to 73, which is satisfactory for those living in warm states. It was a bit warm for us, but ceiling fans in every room were helpful in that regard. Owner was very responsive to emails prior to and during our visit. Saltwater pool was quite nice. However, the picture may indicate you can see the ocean while in it (you can't, due to a wall). Key is tricky to get out of and in to the lock box. Very clean complex, and we enjoyed breakfast on the lanai each morning, and use of the grill. Very fair price for what is provided. We would stay again!

Thanks for staying with us and for a great review, we work hard to ensure our condo is clean comfortable and up to date. I will see if there is a way to reprogram the thermostat to a lower minimum. I never had that question come up before but will certainly address it. Mahalo! Update....the thermostat has been reprogrammed a lower minimum set point.

LOVELY CONDO

We stayed in this condo for 3 weeks in April 2017. I have to say the owner (Warren) is very easy to deal with and his response time is fast. It was nice to arrive to a very clean condo after such a long flight. The condo is equipped with everything you may need. Parking was never a problem, just outside your door. The location is excellent...not far from anything you may want to do. We both loved the gathering at the end of the day to watch the sun set.....loved meeting the people. The grounds are very well taken care of and the workers so friendly. Both the pools (one salt...one fresh water) are kept nice and clean...loved the salt water pool. If there was one thing I would fix it would be the lock on the patio doors. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return one day. Thank you Warren for sharing your LOVELY CONDO with us ;-))

Really enjoyed this property!

The outdoor property and pools are lovely, it’s a very community feel. The day we arrived a group were playing Christmas tunes on their ukulele’s under the cabana, loved this! In the evening they blew their conch shells at sunset. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed, thank you! The bathroom was not clean when we arrived, but I spoke with Warren about this and he said they’d be sure to deal with the cleaners for the next time. Location was close to town. Would definitely stay at this property again!

Very cool place to stay

Very well located and quiet. The place was perfect for us, kitchen well stocked, bedroom and bed were very comfortable to stay and sleep in. People in the condo complex were all very nice, 2 miles from downtown Kona. It was perfect for us to come back each night and have dinner and wind down for the next days adventure.

The property was perfect for us. We love Kona because it is not so touristy. The property was as advertised. The air conditioning at night was a must for us and not many properties offered this. So much better than an hotel experience.

Fabulous condo! Highly recommend!

The property and grounds, pools, plants, bbq and community area are all beautiful and so clean. The condo has everything! It was as if I was at home with all kitchen necessities. Bathroom was fully stocked and even a magnifying makeup mirror for us seniors. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet complex with very friendly permanent residents. Book it, and leave everything but your money and clothes at home! Oh, the location is perfect! Halfway between everything! Aloha!

Great condo on ground level

We have stayed at Casa deEmdeko before and love the property with the sandy area and two pools. The unit was very clean and Warren was very responsive to any questions. The unit was very well stocked. Only thing we could of used was a few coffee filters and some coffee for our our first day here. There were beach chairs, noodles for the pool, wakeboards, snorkel gear, coolers, beach towels and anything else you might want. The front room recliners were very comfortable. There was construction going on two doors down which was pretty annoying at 7 am with pounding and loud voices but that only lasted a few days. It certainly wasn’t anything that the condo owners could control. We would be excited to return to this same unit.
