If you are looking for a newly renovated cozy, comfortable condominium that comfortably sleeps 6, look no further.

Our condominium is located in one of the finest communities in the heart of Waikola, called Hali’i Kai.
Hali’i Kai is the only community with an ocean front clubhouse. The clubhouse was newly renovated in 2020. It has a salt water pool, spa with sand bottom, full fitness center facing the ocean, bar, and full restaurant serving a mix of American and Hawaiian cuisine. The trade winds will keep you cool during your workouts, which may be interrupted by a whale and/or dolphin sightings. The bar serves amazing tropical cocktails. As part of your rental you will also have full access to tennis courts and half basketball court.

You can enjoy snorkeling, whale watching (seasonal from Nov- End of March), golfing, sun set sails, and of course soft, sandy beach at A'Bay, all within 5 minutes from the condominium. Waikola's King and Queens shops are a short stroll from Hali' Kai.

What makes our unit 3C different is our hospitality. Our home was completely renovated in 2020. It is very well appointed with high end beddings, a fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy morning coffee on your private lanai facing the golf course with a peek-a-boo ocean view. You will find plenty of beach chairs, snorkeling gear and life jackets for those fun filled days at the beach. Return home to the comforts of our air conditioned unit and enjoy a heart warming sunset straight from our tropical lanai. To make your stay extra special, we provide all amenities including soap, shampoo, conditioner and Nespresso coffee machine.

Resort fees-

Please Be advised, Hali'i Kai Resort collects a check-in fee of $25/day + tax for each reservation regardless of whom the reservation is booked through. The check-in fee allows guests access to the property and Ocean Club facilities (Pools, Fitness Center, Club Restaurant and Club Bar) and includes electronic entry gate key card.

Another great stay

Excellent location, loved being on the garden level walking distance to the pool complex.

This property was equipped with everything we needed and exceeded our expectations! Proximity to the pool & spectacular ocean views, an awesome coastal walking/running trail, close to shopping etc. Will happily return!!

Perfect big island getaway

We love it here so much! It’s our second time staying in the neighborhood and it was nothing less than wonderful. The place was clean and kid friendly and communication was super quick and helpful. We love the staff here and have made friends down at the pool/restaurant from both stays. We can’t wait to come back again!

Relaxing and fun

Beautiful unit and perfect location to enjoy the big island. Nice pool and restaurant on property. Beaches are close but need to go early to get parking. We saw some whales from the pool area! Unit has snorkel gear and boogie boards but no beach towels. Had a lovely stay despite the rain.

Great property. Great Location being on Hali'i Kai resort. Most beautiful sunsets in all of Hawaii with Hawaiian Conch Ceremony evey night. Restaurant has the best drinks and best french fries I have had. Price was lowest I was able to find in Hali'i Kai. Could use some updating, but nice getaway for 2-4 people.

Nice resort condo

This condo super clean and updated. Kitchen well equipped…any beach toy/chair you need is there. Plenty of room for our family of 5….3 of which are teenagers. This condo is in an area with many different condo complexes. It’s close to Queen/King shopping center and various beaches along the coast. I had mistakenly thought there was a beach at this complex. That is not true. There is a pool (which is very nice) but you need to drive somewhere to go to the beach.

Nice stay on the big island

The community and grounds were beautiful and it was relaxing to have a first floor lanai where you could walk out directly onto lush grass. The unit was conveniently located to shops and nearby beaches and was well-stocked with essentials and beach/pool chairs and toys. The club restaurant, pool, and fitness center were also favorite spots for our family. Check-in was a bit disappointing as the unit was supposed to be ready by 4pm but was still being cleaned at that time and was not ready until almost 7pm which feels like midnight to weary travelers who just arrived from the central time zone. My kids and mother-in-law were extremely tired and it would have been nice to be able to settle in at 4pm as is stated in the listing as the check-in time.

Perfect kids pool!

This property is gorgeous and has perks of a resort with a bar/grill near the pool and a pool with an area that’s just 1 1/2 feet deep which was perfect for our baby and toddler. Our only issue was with the cleanliness of the home (dirty towel still in hamper, crumbs on the floor, etc) and when we let our baby crawl around on the tile her knees and the tops of her feet turned black with dirt. We cleaned up a bit on our own but I wish the property had been cleaned more thoroughly prior to arrival. Overall, though, the place was comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed our trip.

I am very sorry for the property not being cleaned properly. I have spoken with the onsite property manager and cleaning crew to make sure this does not happen again. Please keep us in mind for you next trip to Halii Kai and give us a second chance.

Wonderful area and condo

The condo was as described. It’s in a beautiful condo resort setting, among a dozen or more other resorts in the same community that share shops and restaurants. This smaller resort had a pool just a seven or 10 minute walk from the condo. It’s a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean. A really gorgeous beach (“A-bay”)is about a seven minute drive with incredible walking paths and fish ponds along the way. The condo was short on shampoo/conditioner, clothes detergent, condiments (had salt and pepper, other spices, soy sauce but no oil spray), also no beach towels. But had several nice snorkeling sets, and 3? Boogie boards, 3-4 low beach chairs, a few other beach toys. We loved that!

Lovely Home

This was one of the most well stocked properties we’ve stayed in. Our family of five was there for 10 days and did a lot of our own cooking. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms had extra bedding and were very comfortable. They also provided all the beach equipment we could need which was an added bonus. The listing says the property doesn’t have beach towels, but you can check some out from the main office for your entire stay. Our only complaint is that the location was not super walkable to amenities but that wasn’t promised in the listing. We would have liked to be a little closer to shops to walk and grab a coffee in the morning or dinner in the evening. But we had a rental car which we used for the 5 - 10 min drive. Lots of people are out walking for exercise, just not close enough to walk to any extra amenities. The pool was beautiful and had great food. It is a good 10 minute walk from the house. It was amazing to watch the whales and sunset each night and we could always find a chair. But it is not super kid friendly. No balls, no jumping, no floats, no loud play, which was hard for our 11, 9 and 6 year old.

Wonderful Propery

This property looked just like the pictures in the listing. The until was stocked with pretty much anything you would need. Lots of products for cooking and meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nice and toiletries were provided. We all enjoyed our breakfast and coffee on the lanai that overlooked the golf course and a view of the mountains in the distance. We did not check out the pool or clubhouse so no review on those. The unit comes with a closet packed full of pool and beach items (chairs, floaties, umbrella, pool noodles, etc). The only thing we were left needing were some beach towels. None to be found in the unit. Luckily our friends staying nearby in a different complex had tons. One thing to note that I wasn't expecting was I had to produce my vaccination card when I checked in. I do travel with it so I had it but it was never mentioned that it was needed in any of the emails regarding check-in. They didn't ask to see one for each member in the party, just one. I was traveling with my family and we all agreed it was a very nice unit and we would definitely stay there again. We live on Oahu and travel to the Big Island every once in a while and it's nice to have this as another option for lodging.

Disappointed

For context, we have been in 7 other condos units in Hali’i kai. We were very disappointed with our stay at this unit:1. When we arrived the fridge was making a very loud buzzing sound. We couldn’t carry on a conversation over the sound. We immediately contacted the property management team via email, no immediate response. After a couple hours, we figured out that if we turned the fridge off and on, the noise stopped. We emailed the property management back telling them we had found a solution, they responded promptly, telling us to reach out again if more concerns. As it turned out, the noise returned that night waking us from sleep and despite resetting the fridge, kept recurring every 3-8 hours, waking us up multiple times each night. We emailed the managers after the first night, but did not receive any further replies; they ignored all problems, but their prompt reply to our email informing them we had (temporarily) fixed the issue shows they were getting our messages. 2. The beach gear was filthy, disorganized, and worn out. By far in the worst shape of any unit we have seen. 3. Bed was uncomfortable with cheap wool mattress pad that was hot (no a/c in bedroom just fan) and folded when you moved, covered by a too small flat sheet (no fitted sheeted) that didn’t fully cover the mattress lengthThe unit was fairly clean (average), dishes were clean, unit decently stocked (sugar, spices, baggies, samples of shampoo, detergent).Hal’i Kai staff are great.

Nice stay

Nice and clean property. It is well furnished, not over the top decorated, so it feels comfortable. It is in a convenient location in Waikoloa. Hali’i Kai is nice in that it has a great pool, bar, and workout area.

Hali Kai condo

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The only problem was when we checked in. They had our reservation dates wrong. The sweet woman at the desk found us another condo for the night. Then we moved the next day. The property is beautiful The condo is super clean and you have a nice view of the golf course. We ate almost every meal out on the patio. The resort pool and bar are great also. Probably a 8-10 minute walk to the Hilton if you want to catch dinner at one of those restaurants. Great stay! We loved it!

Waikoloa wonderland

Loved this condo and would definitely stay again. Beautiful, clean and well equipped. Back patio is private and the only thing that could have been nicer would be to have a couple of lounge chairs on the lanai. Pool area/restaurant was outstanding and so beautiful.

Relaxing stay!

Lovely spot for some R&R! We spent 3 nights here and loved the fully equipped kitchen, beach gear, and ocean-side club. We enjoyed whale watching by the pool for breakfast, and sipping drinks by the pool at sunset. The Hali'i Kai community is friendly and quiet, and the beautiful sights of the Kohala coast are easily accessible from here.
