Our stay was fantastic. The condo was very clean and management was very responsive - had a small problem with the ice maker that was fixed quickly. The grounds are awesome and the pool fantastic. Will absolutely be on our list of places to stay.

Wonderful family vacation spot

We loved our time at Hali’i Kai! The community is beautiful and location is great - the water front pool and restaurant were incredible. The unit was very clean, spacious and well appointed with everything we needed for the stay. We only had 3 traveling (2 adults and our toddler) but could’ve easily fit multiple kids or an additional couple of adults. Check in and check out were relatively easy and Burt was very communicative throughout. Would highly recommend!

Great stay and great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, as described, well furnished and all around enjoyable. My only complaint is the noise of the refrigerator motor which made a high pitch whistling noise. We had to sleep with the door closed. If they fix that the place is perfect.

I took my 15 year old son on this trip and we had a wonderful time. It was great to have the discounted golf. The place was beautiful and well stocked. The owner put some special touches on our stay with a small gift set that was perfect. Everyone was friendly at the pool and restaurant. Wish we could stay longer. Thank you for being great hosts!

Fantastic stay

We loved our stay at Hali'i Kai. The unit and grounds were everything that could be expected and asked for. Burt was a fantastic communicator and went out of his way to make sure that everything for the stay was perfect. As a family, we greatly appreciated the array of beach gear that was provided with the unit! Definitely a bonus when travel from a distance.

Ocean views and humpback whales

Our family of 4 had a great stay! The lanai had great views of the ocean, sunsets every night, and whales!! The location was centrally located for various beaches, downtown Kona, and access to the Saddle Road that takes you to the Volcano Park. Burt was super responsive and very accommodating. I highly recommend this location for families with older (17+) kids. We would definitely come back!!

My husband and I came for our 30th anniversary. The condo is well stocked. Minor maintenance issues that I’m sure will be resolved. The sunset view is absolutely incredible! And the restaurant at the pool has delicious food. If you go, you must try the avocado fries and green beans. Awesome!

Aloha Celine, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with others who may be interested in staying here. We agree that the pool can be crowded at times due to the popularity of the location and the stunning views of the ocean from the pool/club area. If anyone is considering coming but wants a little more peace and quiet, the end of April, May, September, October, and early November are shoulder seasons where you can beat the crowds. Mahalo, Burt

We loved the condo and it’s location in the Kali Kai neighborhood. The condo was modern and well supplied. It’s a short walk to the pool and the Ocean Club restaurant. Aloha Douglas, Thank you for this wonderful review. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay in Halii Kai, it's a great location and one of the only communities to have a restaurant as part of the amenity center, or in this case, we call it the Ocean Club. Also, I am happy to report that the washing machine has been working great since. Mahalo, Burt
