Great stay

Excellent two bedroom / two bathroom property in a great part of town. Easy access to shops and restaurants. Deck has a nice view and a gas fire place. Would stay again.

This is what VRBO properties are supposed to be!

A lovely clean property right in the heart of Carmel. Much appreciated the personal welcome to the property. Every inch was clean and well presented. Very handy having the restaurant right there. Really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend this property.

What a beautiful property, everything was just as described in the listing. Upon arrival we were met by our host Jane, and she has to be one of the most outstanding hosts we have ever met-friendly, helpful, timely, I will run out of adjectives to describe how good/professional she is!! Highly recommend this property if you are looking for beautiful accommodations and the best host, ever!

Prime Location

The ocean view penthouse was perfect for our 3 day getaway to downtown Carmel. Everyone at the property and restaurant were amazing. Our 2 small children had a blast! Can’t beat the location, the deck and fireplace, and the service. Totally worth the price!

What a fabulous stay we had! Even before arrival Jane reached out to give us the details on where to park, etc. Once we arrived Jane promptly showed us the beautiful penthouse. A perfect place for 2 couples to stay! The view was absolutely lovely and we walked everywhere!We had dinner at the Porch the first night and enjoyed it so much that we cancelled our reservation for the following night in Pebble Beach and enjoyed dinner #2 at...The Porch! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was fabulous!We sat around the fire pit both evenings and it was alovely end to the day. The accommodations are lovely, the location is fabulous and the people responsive and warm.

Perfect Pre-Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a fabulous time staying at The Pocket! The views were amazing, the location was perfect, and the amenities were outstanding! Kent was incredibly accommodating and met us at the property to check in and even checked in on us during dinner a The Pocket restaurant. We brought our dog with us and they had a huge dog bed for her to lay on while we sat by the outdoor fireplace. We enjoyed our time so much that we will surely be back! We talked about renting the downstairs unit on our next visit so we can have more of our family join us. We would highly recommend and stay again! Love, love, love!

Amazing Carmel Property

Where do I start, the staff, property, cleanliness, and food at the below restaurant were all 10/10. The apartment itself was much larger than we anticipated, it was spacious with a top of the line kitchen, fire place, living room, etc.. The outdoor patio with the grill and fire pit were an amazing addition. We look forward to staying at the Pocket Residence for all future stays to Carmel. I can not thank, Jane, Sunny, Jose, and the rest of the staff at the restaurant and apartments enough for their service.

We loved everything about it! Gorgeous home, awesome location and wonderful staff that got us all settled in fast and easily. Restaurant downstairs is a great bonus. It was perfect for our family of four and dog!

Perfect getaway in Carmel

Absolutely lovely place and perfect spot. We enjoyed the outside deck immensely, having wine by the fire almost every night as we watched the sun set into the ocean. The flexibility of the 2nd room to be a bedroom or office was clutch for us, as we had friends join over the weekend and then converted to office during the week.

Pocket in Carmel- Great Stay

This was a perfect location. We got wonderful service because the property is connected to the restaurant, so there is someone always there if anything is needed. The convenience of the property could not be better. The unit itself is beautiful. We used the deck and fire pit daily, the amenities are all top notch, high end appliances, all sorts of bells and whistles, just a beautifully appointed unit. Kent and Yvette can be very proud of their property and many thanks to Gary and Jane for taking such good care of us. And lastly, the adjacent Pocket Restaurant was just excellent!

Luxury living in the heart of Carmel

This condo is phenomenal - a slice of luxury living in Carmel-by-the-Sea. The property manager was very communicative and accommodating. Everything is in working order and was a much-needed home away from home feel in the middle of our two week PCH vacation. Definitely hope to stay here again when the time comes!

Wonderful Stay

The property is lovely, as described. The apartment is spacious and clean. We enjoyed staying in the middle of Carmel, within walking distance of, well, everything. We made reservations at The Pocket restaurant downstairs our first night and the food and atmosphere was amazing and very welcoming. We also wine tasted at Talbots downstairs and had a great time- would recommend both. Inside the unit, if you have the windows open there is a low murmur of restaurant noise, but it was not intrusive and I found it enjoyable. There is laundry within a closet inside the second bedroom in the unit, which we used and found very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would like to thank our hosts for making the check in and out process so easy.

Relaxing getaway with ocean views

We had a lovely stay at the oceanview penthouse. The location is great - walkable to everything in Carmel with beautiful views of the water. The interior is newly updated and we enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. We spent most of our time on the deck sitting by the fire and grilling out. The outdoor heaters were perfect for chilly nights in Carmel!

Great location in Carmel

Fabulous location and amenities and very modern penthouse! They even provided 2 bottles of Talbot wine which was very welcoming. Only tricky thing is you have to walk through restaurant to get to your penthouse but very comfortable.
