Le plan d'étage ouvert - avec puits de lumière et sols en noyer raclés à la main - comprend un confortable coin repas et un salon avec de confortables canapés en cuir, une télévision à écran plat et une cheminée à gaz. Et lorsque vous ne profitez pas de la cuisine raffinée qui fait la renommée de Carmel, la cuisine bien équipée comprend des plans de travail en granit et des appareils en acier inoxydable. La suite principale a un lit King, une deuxième cheminée et une salle de bain privée avec une grande baignoire à jets et une douche à vapeur. La deuxième chambre a un lit Queen, et la deuxième salle de bain, située dans le hall, a une douche à l'italienne. Pourquoi rester dans un hôtel quand vous pouvez avoir un condo entier?Accès par ascenseur. We loved staying at this condo! It was very clean, comfortable and in an excellent location off of Ocean Ave. We enjoyed nearby shopping and restaurants and of course the beach! We would stay here again in a heartbeat :)

We were there for 4 nights and it had everything we needed in the kitchen. Bring your own tea bags, as I did. Coffee was provided. Lots of blankets and towels. Grateful for the washing machine.We invited relatives over for card games.It was nice and private for middle of Carmel by the Sea. Loved being on the top floor and the elevator is great for those who can not do stairs. I used the small table and chair outside to see the view and pray in the morning.Easy access with code for front gate and door.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Banyan. The location is great & the property had everything we needed. The instructions for getting into then property on arrival and what to do before we left were very easy to follow. Excellent communication from the host. Would definitely recommend!!

Our Stay at the Banyon

We stayed at the Banyon condo rental for 7 days and while we were quite happy with the actual layout of the spacious apartment (2 bedrooms,two bathrooms) there were some drawbacks. We were told (after we inquired before our stay) that the condo we were renting had no AC. Instead they supply several electric portable fans throughout this unit to compensate for this which should have given us a clue to what we were soon to discover. Our apartment was located on the top floor (there are only 3 floors of this apartment complex). There are high vaulted ceilings in the two bedrooms which means that hot air gets trapped with nowhere to go so even though Carmel seldom gets too hot warm air remains in the apartment pretty much throughout the day and evening. Most of the window screens in all rooms are missing so if you do want to open windows be prepared to welcome in flying insects. We had a few sleepless nights there because it was a hotter than usual week in Carmel and we didn't want to sleep with the screenless windows totally open. Being on the top floor of the Banyon is lovely but it is definitely hot up there no matter what the the weather is outside. Secondly, the water purifier unit for the hot water dispenser on the kitchen sink is non functional and could not be fixed by the plumber who came upon our request during our stay. We purchased our own bottled water instead as Carmel water from the taps is pretty nasty tasting. Other than that we enjoyed the spaciousness of this apartment and were glad it has an elevator for those staying on the top floor of this apartment complex.

Comfortable, good location

Our family of three had a nice stay at Banyan. The location is ideal, very walkable and close to shops, restaurants, with a local market just around the corner. Overall, we were comfortable and had a good experience. The furnishings and unit overall could use a bit of attention and updating, there were torn cushions on the sofa and torn throw pillows, scuffed walls, cobwebs, dim light bulbs, etc. We had plenty of space to relax when we were there but spent most of the trip exploring the beautiful town of Carmel and the surrounding area.

Perfection!

Banyan really is in the perfect spot. It is an upscale, well stocked condo. While it is in the downtown area, it is very quiet and comfortable. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, and a market across the street. We plan to come back soon!
