Weekend for two

It was a perfect setup for us. I enjoyed the privacy. It was a very unique place. A first time I've stayed in anything like this. My girlfriend loved it and we both hated to leave.

Superbly Clean & Quiet

We stayed just one night for our anniversary. It was relaxing and quiet. So clean, when you walk in you can smell the cleanliness. Front desk (Misty) was amazing! She was so accommodating! We would love to stay again

Tiny Home in the Woods

It was a smooth process checking in and out. Everything was just what I needed for a short weekend stay. I will say there were some bugs, but I guess that’s to be expected when staying in the woods. Expect a pretty decent walk to the cabin from where you park. All in all, a good stay.

Perfect Family Spit

We loved our stay at Barefoot Hotel. There was an easy little hike up to the container house. It wasn’t bad with 2 kids (1 year old and 4 year old). My 4 year old thought it was the container was the coolest thing. We couldn’t really figure out how to work the tv but we didn’t need it. Super close to R Ranch which is why we were in Dahlonega. Also only a 10 minute drive to downtown. Super friendly staff. We will absolutely stay again!

Really nice overnight

The EcoCabins are great if you want a camping-like experience with running water and a shower. Tiny house concept, very well done. Perfect for a nice overnight getaway.

Can't wait to go back

We were only here for one night as we made a multi-state roadtrip, but we are already planning our next trip back to spend some more time at this beautiful property. The cabin is adorable and has everything you need, and the property has great features like a firepit, horseshoes, and hiking trails. The hill is steep, but worth the climb!

Wonderful little hiding place.

This was absolutely a wonderful trip. I was curious about how small this rental would be and was pleased when we arrived. It was perfect for my husband and I and it was quite and peaceful. Definitely will stay Here again.

Love this place! ❀

We loved staying in the refurbished container/cabin. It was exactly as listed. We did have to park in a lot and walk/small hike up to our cabin, but we are healthy and didn’t mind. It wasn’t bad at all—we just didn’t expect that. The place has a fantastic overall feel—welcoming, outdoorsy, but not too rustic.

Very accommodating. Suggested that the walk to our room was too steep and he told me he had other rooms available that were easier to get to. Showed me 3 different places and gave me price quotes. Enjoyed our stay.
