Victorian Mansion in the heart of historic Jim Thorpe

Stay in the garden level of an historic Victorian mansion in the heart of Jim Thorpe.

Built in the 1850s, the "Judge Allen Craig" mansion features a sunny enclosed porch surrounded by the panoramic view of West Broadway and the mountains, with French doors opening into the spacious living room. The large dining room that comfortably seats 8-10 is adjoined by a cozy breakfast room near the kitchen.

The home easily accommodates up to 10 people, with 5 bedrooms and 2 baths. (For more space, inquire about our second floor Balcony Level, https://www.vrbo.com/2203717, which has a large, newly updated kitchen, and three bedrooms that sleep up to 10). Extra air mattress, pack-n-play and toddler gate are available on site.

Off-street parking is available for up to 4 cars. We have a back yard and patio with two grills, a fire pit, and a new bike rack.

Excellent stay in Jim Thorpe. This property is stellar in every way. Great location in walking distance to all the town has to offer. Home is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated. It exceeded our expectations. Host was very accommodating and helpful. There were 10 adults in our group and we had a fabulous time.

We absolutely loved this place. It was clean and comfortable. We are 6 college friends who stayed here for three days, and it was roomy and enough room for all of us. It was a great location to walk to restaurants, shops, the Opera House and the train station. I would 100% recommend this house.

We had such an incredible stay! This property was absolutely perfect for our little family fall getaway trip. The location is indescribable, the town is breathtaking, especially this time of year being able to see all of the trees changing colors in the mountains around you. We often visit Jim Thorpe, and we will absolutely be booking this property for our return stay. We travel a lot and have rented a lot of properties and I will say with certainty that this was the cleanest and most unique stay we’ve ever had! I can’t recommend this place enough! And then to top it all off the host was so kind, gracious, and was so thoughtful with little things they left around the property; excellent at communication can’t recommend enough!!!

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautifully designed home. It was spotless, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—just minutes from great restaurants, train stations, and local museums. Extended Family Get Together

The 5 bedrooms on the first floor were terrific. Loved the antiques and the modern updates/touches. The living room, dining room and closed in porch were spacious and great to use for meals and gatherings. The house is located directly in town so it's easy to walk to restaurants, shops and historic sites. Parking is a little bit of an adventure but there was plenty of parking. Thanks for a great weekend!!

Another FANTASTIC stay!

This house now has a little special place in my heart and the couples that have been coming with me and hubby for a weekend here every year! You will not find a better place to stay (and we have tried many) while touring and exploring Jim Thorpe. The house is right on the main strip and in walking distance to everything! And the house itself is a dream and enhances the feeling of your stay in Jim Thorpe due to its beauty and historical history. Liza is an AMAZING host and the place is always top notch clean. Like you will not find a speck! This is the place to be if wanting an overnight or more in fantastic Jim Thorpe! Thank you Liza for ALWAYS making it a great stay! And for your quick response time this past weekend when my friend left her laptop bag there!!

Love it here!

This is our 5th year staying at this beautiful historic property in the heart of Jim Thorpe with a group of friends, and we love that every year there are new upgrades, incuding this year an adorable added powder room and expanded parking area. Liza and Brian take such great care of the maintenance and continual improvement of the house (while it always seems like it couldn't be more perfect:)) and have done a beautiful job of maintaining the historic character while also mixing in some fun modern elements. We will definitely continue to return!

Beautiful house and great location!

This is a spectacular property. The location could not be better! The house is wonderfully decorated and really comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are nicely appointed. When you step out the front door you are in the heart of all of the best parts of Jim Thorpe. We could walk to shops and restaurants— everything! We can’t say enough about how great this spot is! And the hosts are wonderful!!
