Charming Chalet-minutes from hiking, skiing and Storyland! Great for Families!

3 Bedroom Charming Chalet on Christmas Mountain in Bartlett NH.! (Please note we do not rent from Craigslist!)

We are located just past Storyland off of Route 16 in a quiet little neighborhood up in Linderhof. We are surrounded by a lot of trees so there is privacy and your neighbors aren't too close. We are centrally located to any activity your hearts desire! Skiing, hiking, leaf peeping, trains, shopping, eating, drinking, amusement parks, swimming - you name it, we have it near us!

The bottom floor has 3 bedrooms, laundry and a full bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms each have a queen sized bed while one has a twin over full bunk bed with an additional twin trundle that can be pulled out.

The main floor is a large open room with kitchen, dining area, living room, fireplace and pinball machine! There are also 2 decks off of the upstairs, one with a grill and one with a great view of the stars at night. It's a great hangout area for the whole family.

The loft has an additional TV with video game systems, a queen sized futon that can be used for additional sleeping and a Foosball table. Great space for the kids!

We love our chalet and have put a lot of thought and effort into making it the ideal space for your family vacation. We've also been visiting the area for over 40 years so we can certainly help with recommendations and planning to ensure that you get the most out of your stay with us!

The chalet was very nice! Quiet, stocked with everything we needed to make food, and all the amenities needed as well. The pinball machine was a hit and the loft upstairs was a hit with my teenage son. If there is one important thing to let renters know is that if you plan on renting this property in the winter time, you will need to make sure you have an AWD or 4WD vehicle. The property is located at the top of steep and winding road, so if it snows or roads get bad, it could be really difficult to get to the property with 2WD. But that only applies in the winter. Highly recommended property

The house was extremely clean. Very well appointed and definitely pet friendly! The kitchen had every pot or pan necessary to make any meal - we made an over stuffer and there was even a roasting pan! The only thing missing was a can opener, luckily we had one.the hosts also provide an assortment of coffee and a very easy to use coffee maker The chalet was extremely pet-friendly! There were multiple dog beds available, products to clean up dog accidents under every sink and extra poo bags for walks. The area where the chalet is located is great for hill walking on the street and we were able to take our dogs for long walks to wear them out.We were traveling with a 12 year old who was thrilled to have her own space in loft, but still be close enough by that she was part of the conversation. She also found a new joy on becoming a pinwheel wizard!The location of the chalet is fantastic! We didn't visit North Conway, but easily could've. We spent an afternoon in Jackson, enjoying the fall decorations. We also booked tickets (AHEAD OF TIME - HIGHLY RECOMMEND) at Cannon Mountain 's Adventure Park for an afternoon of mountain coaster rides, scenic chairlift rides and the soaring eagle Zipline!

Perfect location close to Storyland, Diana’s Baths & North Conway for our trip with two families and a dog. Super cozy house with lots of thoughtful little amenities and everything we needed for a weekend, including to cook dinner. The 11 year olds loved the game loft and the pinball machine! Really helpful and responsive hosts. We can’t wait to come back!

Fun place

The house is lovely. Great location. Three bedroom plus loft. Gorgeous, open living room w tall ceilings. Hosts stocked the bathroom w shampoo, conditioner. Plenty of pans and pots, dishes, appliances. Great base for exploring the White Mountains.

Family vacation.

We love staying here the children and adults love all the games and very close to storyland.We were a little disappointed with the up-keep, the porches we had to sweep and clean table, we bought ant traps and batteries for Loft TV remote. We did have a fantastic time and the cousins really bonded.

Another great week!

Once again (3rd year in a row) we had a fantastic time and had zero complaints. Wood burning insert and the loft are always highlights for the kids and location is perfect and quiet. Will be back again !

Ski weekend

The house was so cozy and clean! The furniture was comfy and I loved the decor. My son and friend enjoyed the pinball and foos ball. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of and there was lots of coffee choices. The location was awesome. The hosts were great. They provided us with tons of info about things to do in the area and we were welcomed with some sparkling wine and cider donuts! I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Charming home in a great location with everything you need!

This home was perfect for my recent family vacation. Close to everything, but still feels so private and woodsy for that authentic NH mountain getaway and is so cute! This home has everything you could need, from a kitchen stocked with all the appliances and tools to cook up a great meal to extra toiletries, board games & video games, linens, thoughtful local recommendations and more. We reached out to the hosts during our stay with a question and they got back to us in under 5 minutes with a super helpful and friendly response. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends!

Perfect Cozy weekend away!

We have been coming to the Bartlett area for almost 15 years. The kids instantly said - this is the best place yet, can we stay here every time? Loved all the little fun touches (decor and games). The apple cider donut welcome was a terrific surprise and much appreciated (we LOVE the White Mountain Cider Co).The house was as described, clean and communication with owners (and property manager) was terrific.

We had a fantastic time at Julian's home. It was an absolute delight for both us and the kids. Having a pinball machine was an excellent choice after a long hike. The kids had fun with the Nintendo and PlayStation. The location was great, and the neighborhood was nice. Bed out of 10 is 8.

Great property

Family thoroughly enjoyed this house. Best stocked kitchen of any rental we have ever stayed at! Very clean and as advertised. Bedrooms were a little warm for sleeping; air conditioning kept upper level nice and cool. Ryan the property manager was fantastic and owners were responsive prior to arrival. Definitely recommend!!

Great Visit

We had a wonderful time staying at the Chalet! Conveniently located to all the fun stuff in the area, and appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Star Wars pinball was a nice a touch and got more use than expected (360,000,000+ was our personal record!) There's only AC in the main living area and not in the bedrooms, but we managed to keep it cool despite 90 degree heat with the fans and keeping the window treatments closed. It was a bit too hot to take advantage of the loft area, but we were present during a heat wave. We spent most of our days in nearby swimming holes or Echo Lake! Overall great experience with nice personal touches, we wouldn't hesitate to book again and may do so in the Winter.

Nice getaway from home!

My family and our pooch love the chalet in the mountains! So cozy and well equipped! We wish we could stay longer! Great to take walks with the dog and close to everything in the North Conway area!

Our permanent residence is in Waltham, MA but we have always used the White Mountains as one of our favorite locations to escape the real world and get away. We love to travel. We love to explore. We love nature. We love to eat great food! And we love to do it all with our dog at our side whenever possible! I've been coming up to the White Mountains my entire life and we are so excited to finally own a property up here that we can use as a second home and share with guests who love the area as much as we do (even if they don't know it yet!).

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We wanted a house with some of that great mountain charm, in a location that is convenient to all of the things we love to do in the Valley. This house fit the bill perfectly. We immediately fell in love with the one big great room on the main floor and the loft. We loved all of the windows and the natural light that comes in. And we loved the woods to the side and the fact that it is set back a bit from the street so you get some privacy.

The location was exactly what we wanted. Bartlett is the perfect location because it is still extremely accessible to North Conway but it is on the other side of Main Street so during those busy busy seasons, you can get to most of the desirable locations without touching the main strip in N.Conway - which was critical to us! We don't like traffic. 😊 We DO love to hike however and our location gives us easy access to the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, Crawford Notch and Pinkham Notch.

We also fell in love with Christmas Mountain. All of the chalet style houses. The Clubhouse. The quiet neighborhood. The views of Mount Washington when you walk around the neighborhood. It just felt like home to us while also feeling like a true escape. Hopefully it will feel the same to you also!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our chalet provides a lot of the mountain charm that we feel is important when you are going on vacation up in the Washington Valley. It has a stone fireplace in the living room with a brand new fireplace insert (and tons of wood provided! we know - we stacked it all ourselves!). It has vaulted wood ceilings with beautiful beams, tons of big windows and natural light, a fantastic open room for everyone to hang out and a great loft space for the kids. And a pinball machine! But we added that ourselves. 😊 The access to the Clubhouse at Christmas Mountain completes our chalet experience. It's fantastic having access to all of the amenities around the corner from the chalet where we can go swim, soak or play.
