Coconut Cove is a beautiful, newly renovated, pet friendly vacation rental home in Destin, FL & is located within the gated community of Emerald Shores. This stunning 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom beach house sleeps a total of 12 guest & is approximately a 5-8 minute walk to the beach. Emerald Shores community amenities offer 2 pools (one seasonally heated), private beach access, beach pavilion with a tiki bar, basketball/tennis courts, seasonal trolley & more!

Upon entering this beautiful vacation rental home Coconut Cove at Emerald Shores you will find an open floor plan with an inviting & comfortable living area which offers an HDTV & sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to prepare a home cooked meal & features granite countertops, beautiful back splash, & stainless-steel appliances. The dining area & breakfast bar can seat 11. Coconut Cove offers a master king suite on the main floor that is accompanied by a day bed with a trundle bed, an HDTV & private bath that includes a large walk-in shower, double vanity, & garden tub. The bunk room is a perfect nook for the little ones & offers a twin over twin bunk & a flat-screen TV. The laundry room & half bath are conveniently located off the common areas. Onto the second story you will find the last 2 bedrooms. One is equipped with a king size bed & the other with a queen. Both offer HDTV’s, access to the private balcony, & a shared full bath. Wake up with a fresh cup of coffee on the balcony or porches to give you a taste of tropical paradise, as five sets of doors open to the sea breeze & in the evenings enjoy a nice BBQ on the patio with the gas grill. This home also comes with 2 beach wagons and an outdoor shower. The open & integrated kitchen, living area, bedroom floor plans of this vacation rental is perfect for families or couples & sleeps a total of 12.

Emerald Shores subdivision is a private gated community that offers these amenities at an additional fee (determined by the HOA) per person: private beach access, pavilion with restrooms, outdoor showers, a beach service vendor (for an additional fee) & it's very own Cabana Cafe & Tiki Bar! This eliminates having to go back to the vacation rental to use the restroom, rinse off the little ones, or just grab a quick bite to eat with a cold beverage. The community also offers several other amenities such as 2 pools with restrooms (the main pool is seasonally heated), complimentary seasonal trolley service to the beach, volleyball/basketball/tennis courts with shuffleboard. Emerald Shores will fulfill all your needs! *Please note the HOA does NOT allow commercial vehicles, boats, trailers, RV's jet skis, wave runners, skateboards, motorcycles, & all similar vehicles are prohibited.

Perfect for Families

We loved our stay at the property! Within walking distance of the beach, house was clean, neighborhood was quiet. My children enjoyed all the amenities! We are looking forward to planning our next stay!

Huge house with lots of amenities

Wonderful house with everything you need for a great trip to the beach. Loved the beach wagon and toys and lots of outdoor seating. We loved having coffee each morning on the upstairs private deck.

Home away from home

My family and I had a great stay. Dog friendly community, short walk to the beach, all the comforts of home. What more could we ask for? Overall the home was nice and had everything we could have asked for as far as making our stay feel like home. Plenty of amenities and space for the whole family.

Fun with the family

Whole family enjoyed the stay at this miramar home. Short walking distance to the beach and pool. We liked that its location is right in the middle of everything with a short drive. House was clean and well equipped. Will definitely return soon!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love Coconut Cove. It was perfect for our group and great location. It was great being able to get a discount on a golf cart that really helped out on getting around. The only thing that was not good was not being able to relax and watch TV in the evenings in the master bedroom. Never could get it to work but not that big of a deal. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and plenty of space for food storage. Will definitely book again with Glass Casa.

Comfortable but a little messy

Due to husband's medical conditions, I had rented a golfcart. When I inquired about it, I was told it was against HOA rules so my reservation was canceled by host. I was told I would receive a full refund. However, I later found out they were allowed and I notified Host. They made arrangements to secure one but it was too late as we had made other plans. Seems to me, the Host should know updated property rules. Some maintenance items needed to be addressed as well, cabinet door in kitchen falling off and Master bedroom threshold was broke.

Large beach house great for large family

Overall we had a great stay and the house served us well. We did read all of the literature regarding the fridge, and I can tell you right now that the fridge in the kitchen DOES NOT work like it should. We left the fridge/freezer temps at 0° & 40° like asked and we had picked my daughter up ice cream and went to give her some the next night and it was melted. Not even edible. All of the drinks for the whole week that we stayed were barely cold. We ended up just using the fridge in the laundry room that worked like a champ. The house is quite outdated on the interior from the decor to the furniture to the wall colors. The flooring could use some TLC because some areas actually pose a trip hazard. We could only use one of the wagons while there because the one wagons tire was blown and they did offer to fix the tire for us to use it while we were there. Really just the fridge in the kitchen was the biggest bother for us.

nice but smaller then anticipated. Worked for what we needed.

Overall it was nice. We were able to do a lot off property. Dryer took days to dry a load, main freezer didn’t make ice. Beds were comfortable and layout works. Grill looked like it had never been cleaned so we skipped using it. Outdoor shower was a nice plus. Kids were disappointed in the basketball court being 1/2 of the tennis court. Shuffle board doesn’t exist or we couldn’t find it. We went to look at how the private beach access worked but never used it. We couldn’t take any tents/ canopys or chairs through the private area and there was nothing but beach chair service on that whole section of beach that runs a min of $50 a day. We used public beach access instead and enjoyed that very much. Would recommend the house as a good site but for more like max -6 adults and 2-4 kids. Although None of the kids wanted to be in the bunk bed room/ closet. It was so tiny. It was a Nice stay for our first time in Destin. Location was nice outside all the construction and traffic in that area. Just to be fair, our overall experience was great. The Xplorie freebies were nice and everyone there was always super helpful. We couldn’t find a use for the additional $200 credit provided by LiveWell since the chair service for this beach isn’t a part of LiveWell and we could only get chairs delivered to the house but still couldn’t take them to the beach to use. Thanks for sharing your home with us. It was an unforgettable trip and the home and neighborhood is beautiful as is Florida.

Reviewer Comments: Overall experience was great - I do not recommend renting golf carts when renting homes in this complex. There is no designated parking for the beach so after renting 2 golf carts for a party of 10 we ended up walking to the beach or using the trolley within the community instead. There are 2 public beach areas that are accessible by golf cart but are first come first serve so we never managed to find a parking spot.

Great Location

The house was perfect for 2 families. Loved the location as it was within a short walk to the beach. The house was close to everything you'd need from things to do, places to eat, and grocery stores.

Home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying here, 2 adults, one 13 year old and two 19 year olds and a dog. The upstairs was great for privacy for older kids and they loved having their own deck. I loved yoga on the patio and the outdoor lighting was lovely around the deck. VERY quiet neighborhood, and we felt safe. Great location, great privacy, pools were fun--we preferred the heated one, beds and furniture were very comfy. Heather was receptive to many emails ahead of time since it was our first time here. Things to a note: Bring your own tupperware,spices and a few more cutting boards if you plan on cooking. We were enchanted with the home, and the area. Thank you Coconut Cove, we will be back.
