Gorgeous Oceanfront Kahana Reef 205, it doesn't get any better! This renovated unit features magnificent Pacific Ocean, Molokai, and Lanai views; what Hawaiian getaways are made of!

Kahana Reef is a quaint oceanfront property centrally located in Kahana. This property is a guest favorite year after year. On-property amenities include an oceanfront pool, BBQ's, lounging, and of course, the breathtaking views! Restaurants, markets, shopping, and golfing all within minutes!

As you enter Kahana Reef 205, you are drawn to the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to your private Ocean view lanai overlooking the tranquil pool. With outdoor seating for four, enjoy your peaceful morning coffee while relaxing to the soothing sounds of the waves. Or dine alfresco with the backdrop of a memorable Maui sunset.

The cozy living area is a great place to kick up your feet after a fun-filled day on Maui. Complete with a flat-screen smart TV. There is a queen-size Murphy bed to comfortably sleep 2 additional guests.

In September 2025, a new couch and updated furnishings were added to enhance comfort and style.

With views from the kitchen, no one will mind cooking in this condo! Fully equipped with plate ware and utensils as well as all of the cooking items any chef would need. Complete with an eat-up breakfast bar, enjoy conversing while whipping up a meal.

Drift off to sleep in this beautifully decorated primary bedroom. Complete with a king bed and flat-screen Smart TV.
The bath offers a shower/tub combo.

Enjoy all of what Maui is known for such as whale watching, dolphins, sea turtles, and some of the most radiant sunsets in the world all from the convenience of your condo.

Please note this unit does not have AC; however, there is a very cool ocean breeze that makes up for it!

Oceanfront Paradise

Kahana Reef is a fantastic location for whale watching and sea turtle viewing. The unit is well stocked for a relaxing time, including kitchen supplies to cook meals there. We enjoyed easy access to a small beach, along with the pool.

I was very pleased with my stay at the condo. The unit was very clean, up to date, with an awesome ocean view. Conveniently located, gas station / mini mart close by, and a 20 minute drive from Kaanapali. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Perfect location

Whale watching from the lanai, turtles at 2pm and geckos all day, and priceless sunsets. Close to the pool, BBQ and parking. Ocean crashing all day and night was comforting. Love being out of the hustle bustle but close enough to services, would stay here again in a heartbeat, thanks

The property was clean and had a lot of nice amenities, great view from the balcony. Giving it a four star rating because it's owned by a real estate company not based in Hawaii which takes away from the already limited housing market for people who actually live there.

A Dream!!

We absolutely adored this property. If we could have stayed longer we would have. This place is nothing short of incredible. The location is central to everything, there are restaurants near by, and a gym! The place is so clean and equipped with everything you need to comfortable live. This place comfortably fit all of us and Diana was extremely responsive throughout our stay! There is also a small private beach nearby (30 second walk) which was a huge bonus. It was a 10/10 experience

Beautiful view

We love this area of the West (some say Best!) Side. The clear view of the ocean to watch whales was perfect. The hot water heater for the unit went out on Friday night of Easter Weekend. We notified the property manager and they had a new hot water heater installed by Saturday evening. We were so grateful.

Kahana 205

Condo was just as shown. There are permanent residents that live there. I am not should if this is a place for kids. My husband and I was fine, but quite time is between 10 pm to 8 am. Some permanent residents want is all time to be quite. And that was when kids were in pool. I love setting on the lanai but need more comfortable chairs. Location was good, Beds were comfortable and so was couch.

Christmas in Maui

Great rental! Most 4-person units are a bed and a sofa bed. The Murphy bed in this one was far superior to a sofa bed. The unit included beach towels and beach chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed. Can’t beat the location. Right by a quiet beach with turtles and little reefs. The kids liked swimming in the pool while I grilled dinner. The floor was a little dirty but I think that’s just because of the sea breeze. When we first arrived it was super hot in the unit. But if you open the windows it’s fine without AC. There were plenty of fans in case extra cooling was needed.

Not clean enough or kept up for the price

I stayed at Kahana Reef for 7 nights, and I was disappointed given what the rental unit cost me, I expected more. PROSThe view and location were as advertised. Both beds were functional, and there were also some beach toys for the kids to use!CONSThe unit contains items, furniture, and appliances that are severely outdated and not clean. The fan spewed dirt and dust everywhere. The floors weren't sufficiently clean when we arrived. The couch was absolutely disgusting and needs to be replaced. I'm not sure how someone could rent out this place for hundreds of dollars a night when the couch has tons of disgusting stains on it. I could go on but I think you get the idea.Overall, the experience was a letdown. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Great Place to stay in Maui

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Kahana Reef 205 for 9 nights and we're very happy with the amenities and beautiful view of the ocean. The Murphy bed was one of the reasons we chose this place. It allowed my grown daughter to have a queen-size bed without having to sleep on a sofa bed. It was a new mattress and very comfortable. The furniture was simple and updated. The only thing we had a problem with was the blinds in the bedroom. They did not open easily and were missing a few slats, so they didn't close all the way. Luckily I brought an eye mask, so that wasn't too much of a problem. Also, the bathtub drain was somewhat clogged. I had to pull out someone else's hair to help it drain better, but I think the clog was deeper down. Those were the only reasons for the two 4s. It was in a great location and within walking distance of a few stores. This was our second time staying and Kahana Reef and for the price, you can't beat it!

Good time in Maui - with caveats

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This apartment was comfortable and clean and mostly very satisfactory. The view is just fabulous and the layout and kitchen appointments very liveable. However, there were a few relatively minor issues...1. bugs. the second day i woke late at night and discovered bugs in the kitchen and bathroom. I reported this to the management, and they had the apartment sprayed in a fairly timely manner (1 day delay) and after that there was no problem.2. The screen door to the balcony did not completely close (and the screen had a small area that was torn away from the frame) but there were no flying bugs that bothered us at any time, so this was a more aesthetic than a practical problem.3. The apartment is on the second floor overlooking the pool, and occasionally there were some noisy children playing in and around it.4. There was a low-pitched, periodically varying noise (I think coming from the bathroom exhaust ducts) that was bothersome at night but not really noticible during the day. Most nights I was tired from the days activities so it was annoying only a couple of nights.Overall, a very satisfying stay.

A little slice of paradise

Let’s just say you’ve never been to Hawaii, and you choose Maui to be your first. You’re close to all the great eats on the west side island and the great beaches. I’d choose them again when I’d come back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was a hair ball on the furniture. Hair in shower and hair in bed sheets. The blinds never closed people were watching us. Cockroaches in unit running around of all sizes. Left the unit immediately! Management never did anything to resolve the matters.

Beautiful setting!

Unit just as advertised. Very comfortable. Gorgeous views from lanai! Only downside is being right over the community pool so not much privacy. We'd definitely stay here again, but would get a different unit away from the crowd.

Top Notch View!!

We had a lovely stay in January!! We watched sea turtles and humpback whales from our balcony daily. There was an awesome little beach for us to swim and do a little snorkeling. My sons loved ending the night with a swim in the pool as the sunset, such beautiful sunsets!! Oh and my husband was impressed with the quality of the knives and cookware in the kitchen.
