The home is just two blocks away from historic downtown Crested Butte, close to the best restaurants and shops, as well as great hiking and biking trails right out your door, this home has been designed for the discerning traveler. The owners have collaborated with Oh Be Joyful Gallery to present to you for purchasing -- or simply enjoying -- original artwork by some of the country’s best working artists during your stay. We will provide you with information for each piece of art once you book your stay. The art collection will rotate and be ever changing, or you can pay a visit to Oh Be Joyful Gallery to find a small memento from your trip to Colorado, or a centerpiece for your collection.

Further, Chalet Nine - The Art House was completely refinished and remodeled as of September 2020 and is appointed with all of the indulgences found in a mod home...spacious storage, steam shower, hot tub, high speed wifi, in-floor bathroom heating, multiple gas fireplaces, and gorgeous mountain views, including Mt Crested Butte. Tucked into a quiet corner of the upper west side, Chalet Nine is raising the bar for Crested Butte vacation homes. Convenient and yet, oh so quiet!

The main level master suite features a beautiful deep tub, heated bathroom floor, and fully glassed-in steam shower, along with a king size bed, cozy fireplace and flat screen TV.

Continuing through the home, guests will marvel at the kitchen, which features a contemporary six-burner gas stove and is fully equipped with a coffee maker (drip and Keurig), blender, crockpot, built-in microwave oven and electric stove, refrigerator, gas oven, toaster, pellet ice maker, and dishwasher. A large five-seat island with a beautiful marble countertop makes for a great gathering spot in the center of the room. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen, complete with a large wood dining room table with seating for 8+. There is a powder room located on this level as well.

The dining room, kitchen and living area all open up to a triple-paned moving glass wall that you can open partially or completely to the spacious deck with gorgeous mountain views, which doubles the size of your living area. The deck is complete with a dining table for 8+, seating, and a gas grill.

The living room features a spacious sectional couch for everyone to snuggle in front of the large gas fireplace. A flat screen SmartTV provides guests with a variety of entertainment options. For your safety, there are security camera at the front and back door.

Upstairs, guests will relax in a king bed and a full and twin bed tucked under the eaves…. perfect for a small family, and the kids will love it! Complete with an en-suite bathroom with shower and heated floors, and also an office space with an electric sitting or standing desk and printer. There is high-speed internet throughout the house.

The lower level features a bedroom, a bunk room, a living area, 2 bathrooms with heated floors, a beverage area for hot and cold beverages, as well as access to the outdoor hot tub and spacious backyard. Complete with a spacious laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

The downstairs master has a king bed, an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, and private access to the outdoor hot tub, making it super convenient to pop in for a quick soak.

There are 2 sets of bunk beds that are perfect for large families or two families traveling together. Each bed is equipped with a charging station and reading light.

The downstairs media room is adjacent to the bunk beds and has a comfortable sectional sofa and a big screen TV with Roku.

The owners have made available their own bikes — 2 adult and 1 child's — to enjoy a quick ride around town. There are head-in parking spaces in the front for at least 3 vehicles, and 1 parking space in the back at the alley way. The bus stop is also within walking distance. Arrive, park your cars and leave ‘em. No need to move cars during the summer or winter months.
