Located just steps away from the white sandy Kamaole Beaches, shopping and dining options, our condo provides the perfect blend of luxury and convenience. Enjoy stunning ocean views from the lanai as you relax in comfort with two AC units and two brand new fans. All taxes and fees are included in your stay, making it the perfect stress-free getaway. The space Experience the best of Maui at our luxurious and newly decorated condo located just steps away from the beautiful Kamaole beaches. Enjoy ocean views from your private lanai and take advantage of all the resort amenities including a swimming pool, hot tub, ping pong, and outdoor grills. Your health and safety is our top priority. We use products approved by the CDC to ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. We also have a self-check-in system for added social distancing measures and confidence in your booking. Make a difference in our island community by booking with us. Each time you book, we donate $10 (equivalent to 40 meals) to the Maui Food Bank to feed those in need. Inside, the condo features an open floor plan with brand new furnishings, including a 65 inch UHD Samsung TV in the living room and a 45 inch UHD Samsung TV in the bedroom. We also provide free WiFi, parking, and a Pack N Play for your convenience. The master bedroom includes a King size bed with high-end beddings, a large closet, a brand new dresser, and AC for added comfort. The renovated bathroom has a shower/bathtub, granite counter sink, and a washer/dryer. The living room also includes a brand new sofa bed with a top of the line memory foam mattress for extra guests and a dining table. Beach towels and chairs are also provided for your use during your stay. Take a break from the beach and enjoy the beautifully kept pool and jacuzzi area or explore the nearby snorkeling, sailing, and other activities. Guest access Very simple: keypad with a code provided to you when booking is done. Other things to note Mandatory Resort Fee - the resort requires that all guests register at the front desk office upon arrival. At that time you will receive a resort map, the combination for the pool and the side gates plus a parking slip for your reserved parking space. The Kamaole Sands office will charge you a one-time (for your entire stay) resort fee of $40 (plus tax 4.167%) + Registration Fee of $30. Please note that none of this amount goes to us, but to the resort.

Here are the pros: the condo has two bathrooms, the bed was large and comfortable, there was a nice slice of a view from the lanai (perfect for relaxing and watching sunsets), the appliances all worked. Cons: The unit needs a good deep cleaning. The counters and other surfaces had not been cleaned and there was black mold in the master bath. The toss pillows were dirty and had a bad odor. The sofa bed mattress was very uncomfortable. The condo felt quite neglected but could be greatly improved in my opinion if it could get a thorough cleaning.

Poorly equipped
My experience staying at this unit started with being required to upload pics of my drivers license to a website. This request came while on route to Maui, and there was no way to get the door code without complying. I don't like the idea of a stranger having my DL details but I had no choice. Communication with the host was poor in general. The gate code to enter the complex was wrong, as was the wifi info. I also didn't appreciate the Ring camera on the front door surveiling us. The condo itself was fine. Clean. Bed comfortable. However, I have never stayed in a VRBO that was so poorly equipped. No bowl in the kitchen to mix a salad or a batch of pancake mix. The pots and pans were old, knives dull. The coffee maker is a K cup, but no coffee supplies provided, not even for the first day. Nothing in the cupboard but salt and pepper. No box of Kleenex in the bathroom. No pool or beach accessories, just chairs that have seen better days. We left the place better than we found it, donating a Brita pitcher since the one in the unit didn't work. The location is good and the complex itself is nice enough.

This unit is located right off the elevator (convenient) and the trash chute. Although there are posted quiet hours, they are not adhered to by your neighbors. This place is small and although the owner replaced the washer/dryer unit after it flooded the hallway, they said they would refund our cost for laundry at the laundromat and they have not. For the money, this place was a roof over our head, but not much else. Great location close to the beach, but horrible view. And the wifi is only good in the front room... absolutely no connectivity in the back room. It says it sleeps six, but not sure where since there's a king bed and a queen pullout. Sadly, most of these things aren't in the control of the owner, but their poor response for a credit/refund due the broken washer was something I haven't experienced with a vrbo rental before.

Kamaole Sands never disappoints. Close grocery store & beach. 9306 condo was comfortable & clean. But communication with the owner was subpar. Information for the coded gate was wrong. Frustrating after a long day of flying & it was dark. Got the information from the front office the next morning. Took a couple of emails to get WiFi information. Paperwork in the condo said WiFi information would be on a magnet on the fridge, it was not. Overall our 8 day stay was fine & comfortable. Just wish information from the owner was better.

Great Place, Great Property and Close to Everything
My family and I stayed here for a week. The location is great and absolutely close to everything. Beach, food, groceries, bars and restaurants are all pretty much walking distance or 5 minute drive. Bigger attractions like the Haleakala summit, Makena beaches and even the airport are all fairly close and probably the easiest drive from Kihei town. The condo itself was very comfortable and had most of the things we needed, the bed and the sleeper were very comfy and there was plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, etc to keep us comfortable. The pool and the hot tub area are very close to unit, so is the parking space. The pool is open till 10 PM and very nice to relax in after a day of exploring. They also have a no kids hot tub and a family one as well as a small kiddy pool in case you have tiny ones (ours were old enough to just jump in the big pool). A few minor nitpicks to just be aware of: 1. There is really no additional toys or beach items available. There are a few chairs there but nothing else really available. We did buy and leave a pool tube in the unit. Hopefully they choose to keep it. 2. the AC units are seperate for the bedroom and living room. The living room one works pretty well, the bedroom was is super loud and right next to the bed, so we had to run it more during the night before going to bed and turn it off by the time we went to sleep. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
