Welcome to The Islander #211 on beautiful Holiday Isle in Destin! This comfortable 2BR/2BA is just steps away from the beach. The master bedroom boasts a king size bed and en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom offers 2 full size plush beds. Venture out to the private balcony after the beach and take in the amazing sunsets the area has to offer. Granite countertops, flat screen TV’s in each room plus added DVD players, The Islander #211 will make your vacation feel complete.

*** You will check in at the Front Desk of The Islander upon your arrival. Please note that there is a Nightly Fee of $19 plus tax for the unit fobs, wristbands and amenities fees.***

Snowbird Season runs November thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Contact us for alternate date requests and further assistance! All monthly rentals are subject to an additional $150 cleaning fee.

The Islander features Two Pools, Two Hot Tubs, Lighted Tennis Courts, two elevators, shuffleboard, covered grill gazebo and on-site fitness center plus connected private beach. The Islander has a coin-operated laundry facility on the 2nd floor is open 24 hours a day. It is a well lit space with six washers and six dryers and a deep bowl sink.

Once you stay in Holiday Isle, you'll want to come back year after year!

Area Attractions: 

An easy walk along the beach will take you to the jetties, where the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor meet, a spot well-known for great snorkeling and fishing. Here you can also watch boats going out deep sea fishing and returning from gulf to harbor. 

The Islander is perfectly located next to Destin Harbor, where you have access to and can enjoy a sunset dolphin cruise, snorkeling, parasailing, wave runner and paddle-board rentals.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

Relaxing family vacation

We were a family of 6, 4 kids ranging in age from 12-18. We wanted to just relax, spend time together, and enjoy the beach. Exactly what we were looking for !

Great location and everyone was very helpful.

Great location and easy access to the beach and restaurants also shopping could not ask for a better place the room had a little smell that’s the only the thing wrong I can over come that cause everything else was perfect. Thank you!!

Great location!

Property is in middle of a beautiful neighborhood! Our rental was very clean and we had a balcony which was great especially on Wednesday when there was a live DJ for three hours! It was so much fun! Beach was a 4 minute walk and access & security was great! We will definitely be back!

Great place & location

Loved the location. Close to restaurant, small walk to the beach, double pool. Our stay was great and would definitely come again. My only complaint would be the double beds I. The first room were a bit uncomfortable; one made a noise with every move, and the other felt like it was tilted sideways. Other than that everything was great ! And very beautiful the everything is exactly what you see in the listing.

Clean & Updated

The condo was very nice. The pools were a great size, the beach was in a distance though. No view of the water. But the pool was in view. If not seeing the gulf does not bother you, this was a very nice location and place. The double beds in the 2nd room were surprisingly larger than expected. Very comfortable stay.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Islander condo. The condo was well maintained. The only thing we wish the condo had was a washer and dryer in the condo or laundry service. There is a coin laundromat in the complex but we would have liked one in our own condo to wash the towels. You do have to wash the towels in the laundromat. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The pools were great. There were lots of things to do around the property (shuffle board, pickle ball, basketball & tennis) and it was a short walk to the beach.

Would stay again but a 250 yd walk to beach

Our place had a property manager offsite- so this made it frustrating having to go to an office down Hwy 98 to get our room passes! Overall the managers were apologetic and nice. The site was beautiful and a GREAT LOCATION on Holiday Isle. This erased any disappointment about not being directly the beach. Room was a little musty smelling and had some water damage on ceiling with small pieces pealing off.

Fix bathroom door, otherwise great

Overall good property with the right kitchen tools and nice balcony and furnishings. The guest bathroom door would not close though and this was disappointing and embarrassing when you need to go to the bathroom. A repair had been done to the floor area, but surely they could have checked to see if the door actually closesand continue to fix until it does close.

Rest and Relaxation

I was blown away by my experience with RealJoy. I didn’t know what to expect with this being my first time vacationing to Destin. I couldn’t believe that a condo this nice was so affordable. My family enjoyed every minute of our vacation. The woman at the office set the tone for the entire trip. She was leaving for the day but she made sure my check-in process was smooth before she left. The rest was smooth. I would encourage everyone to read the text and emails sent from RealJoy. It helped. If we come back to Destin, I will be checking with RealJoy. I will be recommending them to others.

Not ideal.

The process was a pain! We had to go somewhere off site to get room cards after asking about it all day of check in. It took 20 min to get someone to even answer the phone. Then the cards did not work. Luckily the manager onsite was nice enough to rekey them. The place was not well kept up. For example the shower liner was covered in mold on the bottom.

Needs updates

Upon entering room, awful smell. Had to leave doors open during whole stay. Items marked "out of order." Door stop was broken, laying on floor. Microwave needs to be replaced. Took 15 minutes to warm up corn. Pans awful to cook in. Ran out of hot water after 2 showers. Lights above sink didn't work. We bought bulbs and they still didn't. Somwthing obviously was more wrong than a bulb. Coating on the ceiling was falling off. Was super hopeful that it would be a phenomenal place so we could return for spring break. Now we need to look elsewhere for a different rental.

Great Condo

The condo was located next to laundry and elevators. Very clean condo and building. We could not hear any of our neighbors. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and it was easy to get to the beach. We had to buy a few things for our stay (pot holders and cork screw) but a lot was accounted for. Restaurants and grocery stores very close by. Would stay here again!

Worked Great

The communication about check-in could have been better. It would have been nice to know that we actually had to go to another location to get the keys. The room smelled just a little bit. Not awful, but still there. Other than that everything was great!

Nice and peaceful, clean easy access to beach. Only down fall the private beach isn't to private due to so many inns in one spot barely have room to set a chair on the beach.

Next visit, different choice

Okay stay. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. Expected different for the cost. The building trash chute area is disgusting. Stairways need paint and traction grip strips on steps. The unit smelled like a wet mildew basement. No clarity regarding towel swap service and use of facility beach chairs. We could have used more key cards for other adults.

We are happy to know that you found the kitchen to be well stocked. Unfortunately, we have no control over the trash chute area or stairways at any resort property. We strive to answer any questions or resolve any issues that are brought to our attention in a timely manner. Renters must clean their own towels during their stay. Some owners may pay the fee for the set up of beach chairs and umbrella or provide beach chairs and an umbrella in the unit for guests to use as a perk.
