Fantastic Location

This property was so convenient to private beach access. The condo was clean and very accommodating. The neighborhood was nice and walking distance to restaurants, as well. We will be back!!!

Great location

The property is a little dated, but the location is great. It is literally a 5 minute walk across the street to get to the beach. The AC unit made a dripping or knocking noise when it shut off, which was slightly annoying, but everything else was good. It was nice to have a washer and dryer available to use. It would have been good to have a king bed in the primary bedroom, but the queen mattress was sufficient for my wife and I.

Easy beach access

Just a quick walk across the street to the beach. Pretty cozy condo. My only gripe was the clothes washer was not working and instead of fixing it, management referred us to use the laundry facility.

Next thing to being on the beach.

We had a very good overall experience. The proximity to the beach was great! The service staff was very confident in their jobs. We had a slight maintenance issue that was taken care quickly. Finding the place might be easier when using gps if you googled Captain Dave’s restaurant as the condos are director across the street. The condo had plenty of room and comfortable beds. The decor was “beachy” but some finishing were a little worn.

Great Location

Great location. Check in and our was flawless. Unit was clean, just run down and in need of some updates. Building is a little older so plan on having something with background noise at night or you will hear everything going on in other units. Maybe grab a memory foam pad for queen bed it was not the most comfortable. Easy walk to the beach and pool from this unit. My kids loved that part. The pickle ball court was also a hit. The unit had everything we needed in the kitchen. Washer and dryer was super helpful. Sufficient pantry and closet storage to keep clutter to a minimum. We would recommend a stay at Chateau La Mar.

A little let down

It was fine but there were for sure things that I did not like. The TV is a thousand years old so you couldn't watch any apps like Disney Plus or Hulu, which is lame because you can easily buy a new TV for $100 or less. There is not really any good excuse for having a TV that doesn't support modern platforms. The guest shower was kinda gross. The second bedroom didn't mention a pull out bed so we packed an air mattress which we didn't need when we were already tight on space. The toaster didn't work. The knobs were missing from lots of the doors. You could hear people outside and above you at all times. It just seemed like really easy things to update that are completely ignored.

Seascape resort condo

Was stressed at first after booking original property that ended up not being available to rent after being charged but they booked me into a similar property close to beach. The condo was nice needs some upgrades but overall was a nice condo with everything you would need. I would definitely book with my host again they answered all questions and concerns.

Great beach condo close to the beach

Nice, clean, open floor plan home away from home. Great location, an easy 5 min stroll to the beach, or seconds from the pool. Would definitely stay again. This unit doesn’t have a washer/dryer. However, near the pool is a laundry room with plenty of washer/dryers, just bring quarters. We had an excellent time!

Peaceful getaway

We needed an escape from the recent hurricane in south Louisiana. This was perfect, and even better, it was pet-friendly. Quick walk to the beach, and close to many shops and restaurants. A great deal all around.
