The Petite Retreat in The Pass in Pass Christian, Mississippi offers upscale lodging with a heated pool and a full array of amenities to keep the whole family happy without ever leaving the property! Wake up to stunning sunrises over the golf course to the east and enjoy striking sunsets over the bayou to the west.

Nature's bounty surrounds this magical home. The heated 8-foot deep pool is surrounded by several seating areas and a grassy area with a shade canopy. The pool house is filled with water toys, games, and floaties for endless fun. There is an additional lounge area under the deck with bar, grill, picnic tables, hanging chairs, and a pool area bathroom. Other games and activities include darts, frisbee golf, and mother nature. Plus, Petite Retreat is just a little over a mile from the sandy beaches of the Mississippi Sound.

The backyard area also includes a fire pit with seating where you can tell campfire stories and make s'mores. If you look to the tree behind the pool, there's even a swing!

The space
Inside you'll find a wall of windows in the great room overlooking several stands of Mississippi pine trees -- try to find the bald eagle nest about 1/3 mile down the bayou.

Relax in this well-appointed home with three bedrooms 2.5 baths, upscale appliances (including Jenn Air gas range and freestanding icemaker), fully-equipped kitchen including little extras such as a juicer, French Press coffee maker, and milk frother.

The primary bedroom overlooks the pool and the golf course. Relax in the jetted tub in the primary bath or step into the separate shower. Upstairs has two bedrooms plus a bath with a shower. The front bedroom opens to an indoor balcony overlooking the great room and the wall of windows.

Enjoy the 800-square-foot wrap-around deck for relaxing or dining.

Stay connected with high speed wireless Internet service, and enjoy a streaming-enabled HDTV with a 5.1 surround sound system. For fun, the dining table top can be turned over to become a ping pong table or removed to reveal a pool table. There's a chess/checkers game table plus an array of board games stored in the entertainment center. For the musically-inclined, you'll find a small keyboard upstairs. Feel free to bring your own instrument as you'll find multiple spaces to play and create! For your comfort, there are two high efficiency central air conditioning systems and abundant ceiling fans. There's also a gas fireplace in the great room for staying warm and toasty on cool nights. (Yes, we have a few of them in the Gulf South).

We use high thread count 100% cotton sheets. All bedding, including spreads and coverlets, are changed and cleaned between guests. Our professional housekeeping service is committed to using quality green cleaning products and is taking particular care in times of Covid-19 to clean all touchable surfaces.

Of course, the Mississippi Gulf Coast is abundant in dining and entertainment options. The quiet, peaceful, never-crowded beaches of the Mississippi Sound are a little over a mile away, and just across the Bay Bridge is Old Town Bay St. Louis with great shops, dining, and strolling along the picturesque streets and Bayfront. The casinos and new Mississippi Aquarium are within short driving distance.
