Ottertail Lake at its finest!

Enjoy lake life throughout the seasons with this professionally remodeled, open concept home with stunning sunset views.

Entertaining will be a breeze with two full kitchens, or simply relax in comfort right next to the sandy beach on the covered screen porch. The sand beach and perfect lake bottom will provide hours of entertainment. Winters can be spent cozy-in up to the wood fireplace on the main level or the gas fireplace on the lower level. Conveniently located close to Ottertail, Perham, and public lake access. Don't forget the golf clubs as Thumper Pond is very close.
Bedroom configuration:
The master bedroom on the main level has a king bed, beds 2 & 3 also on the main have 1 queen each, bedroom 4 on the lower level has a queen, and bedroom 5 also on the lower level has two twins and a couch in basement has an additional sleeper sofa. Outdoor hot tub available for additional fee.

Kitchens are equipped with all of the essentials, coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, Dish soap, (Bring your own Laundry soap) Water in the home is well water, has been tested, and is safe to drink, we always recommend bringing bottled drinking water if you prefer. Also, recommend bringing firewood. Close to Ottertail where you can get all of the things you need for your stay.

Rented the house for a get together for the wife. Was very clean and neat (with the exception of the hot tub but they took care of us on that). would definitely recommend!

Great place.

We had a great time with the family. Plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms for everyone. The beach was nice and everything in the house is very clean and updated. We’ve already booked for next year.

Beautiful home to make great memories

My family and I had a great stay at this property. Check-in/check-out details were communicated well before our visit and the property managers were available for questions via the app and text. We enjoyed the clean and family friendly spaces and greatly appreciated the additional amenities like fresh towels of various sizes, many kitchen supplies, and fleece blankets. We really enjoyed the many places to gather throughout the home, inside and out. We had a great time and plan to be back next year.

The cleanliness issue we noticed was the inside of the drawers and fridge,freezer. Alot of animal hair under the table and dirt on the headrest of hot tub. The host was great - other than the description when we booked said there was an elevator, the one main reason we booked for our 84 yo mother. The view and lake were amazing!!! The hot tub was super fun. What a great amenity. The no see ums were terrible so it was tough outside but that's everywhere, not just here. Over all the space was perfect for us and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Clean with plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, overall nice beach especially for young kids, and nice to be able to use the washer & dryer. Had a wonderful week at this VRBO rental.

Family getaway

Very relaxing stay with three families for a total of ten. Sleeping arrangements and bathrooms were perfect. Two separate living areas and full kitchens were enjoyable. Beach was fantastic and so convenient. Plan on returning next year!

Relaxing Stay, great location

We loved staying at this home, it was such a relaxing weekend hanging out. We brought our own pontoon and the public access to launch was only a few blocks away. We enjoyed so many cruises on the water and even tried some fishing. The location is perfect with Ottertail right there, we also got to visit the Perham Clinic which wasn't that far away. We brought our dogs and they so enjoyed swimming every day, the water was so clear. Thanks again.

Liked all of the accommodations at this house. No local tv channels. We couldn’t watch the Vikings. Garbage cans full upon our arrival. Beds too soft. Overall a good house with lots of space for 10 adults!!

Good experience

We had a group of 12, three families with kids ranging in age from 6-15. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the kids had plenty to do playing and swimming on the beach. Lots of space for everyone. With 12 there’s a big need for towels, extra blankets/pillows and garbage space, I’d just recommend accommodating that better. Sunlight shines in from all the blinds/curtains so be ready to greet the day at sunrise as they don’t have any light blocking features, hard to complain about the sun though. Hope to be back in the future!

loved everything about the property. Could have been better stocked. No black towels for removing makeup, definitly need more towels and washclothes as well as linens. No sheets for the sofa beds and could have used more blankets. Also, leave more soap for the dishwasher. With 12 people staying, we ran the dishwasher 2 times a day and with teenagers, constantly washing towels/washclothes several times a day. Other than that, a wonderful time and planning on booking again.

Nice property for large families

This was our second year staying here with our large family (10 adults and 3 small children). This house offers lots of space inside and outside and a nice beach/swim area. House is nicely finished and decorated with comfortable beds, but could use a couple small touches like extra bath and kitchen towels, a hook for towels in the master bathroom and some furniture in the bedrooms like a dresser or small table for setting out belongings. Yard is great for yard games but could use a little shaded area in the back. Kitchen is well stocked, the only thing we were missing was a can opener which we purchased and donated. The house does need some small repairs which we have detailed to the management company. There is a grocery store, gas station, restaurants, golf, and shopping very close by, which is convenient. Our only real disappointments were things that were probably out of management’s control, such as the huge bug population and the swimmer’s itch we got from playing in the lake. Overall I would recommend staying here with a large group or family.

Beautiful and spacious spot for family gathering

My husband and I, my 3 adult siblings and their spouses, and our parents all gathered here for Thanksgiving week. The location was right on Ottertail Lake, with beautiful sunsets that I'm sure are even more lovely when it's not frozen. The home was well-appointed with wood-burning and gas fireplaces, comfortable couches and beds (some very low to the ground), and stylish furnishings. The large upstairs and smaller downstairs kitchens came in handy for making a big meal. And we enjoyed playing ping-pong in the heated garage. A few issues noted during our stay: 1) Another family showed up a hour after us, saying they'd booked the place through another rental listing company. The manager told them he'd find them another place to stay. 2) The hot tub didn't heat properly so wasn't usable; the manager later refunded the hot tub fee. 3) The dishwasher was not bolted in place and tipped out of the cabinet, and some lights were out on the deck and over the stove; the manager sent someone to fix these things while we were there. 4) The place was tidy but in need of a deep cleaning (cobwebs in the corners, dirty light fixtures and vents, soiled oven floors, and some very full fly traps dangling over the island and dining table that we had to remove). 5) Though the kitchen had lots of basic gear and small appliances, it lacked wine glasses, cutlery, and silverware (4 butterknives for 10 adults). Thankfully, we brought our own chef's knife and some plastic utensils.

Wonderful!

Perfect place for our large Christmas gathering with our extended family. Plenty of place in the kitchen to prepare food, places to gather and play games and the hot tub was so relaxing! Highly recommend and would love to return.

Didn't want to leave!

Went to Ottertail Lake for a relaxing friends getaway. We were not disappointed! House was clean and as pictured in listing. Way more than enough room for 6 adults. Great kitchen. The air fryer was a pleasant surprise. Loved the option to have firewood delivered right to the house. Darin set it up for us and it was so convenient. Darin was quick in getting back to any questions I had before our trip. We had an issue getting the front door to lock on the day we left, but the management company was able to help us right away. Carr's Market in Ottertail had everything we needed, items were fresh and it seemed to be priced appropriately. Overall, a great stay and I would book this lake house again and again!

Great Lake home experience

This house worked very well for our family of 8. House is well stocked with a great floor plan, comfortable beds, and best of all, it is right on the water. There’s a market for essentials just one mile away and 2 larger towns within 15 minutes. We also rented a pontoon and spent lots of time on beautiful Ottertail lake. One small issue was that the cleaning crew was not done when we arrived (after 4) and may have taken some short cuts as the house was not what I would call spotless. Also would be great to have shade in back of the house - there was a large umbrella there but it was broken. Overall great experience and we would definitely return!

Beautiful Spot

This house was really beautiful, full of extras and had plenty of room and a fantastic location. The first vacation we’ve had with our entire family, our two sons and their families, including three grandkids ages 1,3 & 4. Everyone says they want to go back again next year!
