Beautiful retreat with lake views from almost every room! Easy entertaining with full kitchen amenities on main floor and lower level kitchenette and wet bar. Keep cooking simple on the gas grill and eat outside at the full dining area on the upper patio! Great for families! One upstairs open entertainment area boasts a floor to ceiling gas stone fireplace accented by a wall of windows lakeside. The cozy downstairs gathering area has a wood burning fireplace, game table, and workout equipment with walk-out easy lake access. Both areas have high quality Samsung smart TVs. This homey retreat is climate controlled for comfort in EVERY season. Share a cup of coffee on the inviting front patio in the morning sun. French doors lead to a stunning sunroom with windows on 3 sides! Access to 100' of lakeshore offers the opportunity to swim, paddleboard or fish in the water right off the dock during the summer or ice skate, snowshoe or cross country ski in the winter and enjoy an evening making memories (and s'mores!) around a firepit all year round. Relax in one of 2 bedrooms on the main level or choose one of the cozy bedrooms downstairs. There is plenty of room to be all together or find your own little nook to read, listen to music or unwind.

This lakehome is BIG on lake hospitality conveniently located close to Ottertail City, Battle Lake, Perham, Fergus Falls each with great little shops, coffee and ice cream spots and restaurants. Zorbaz on the Lake and Beach Bums with live music throughout the summer are popular spots on Ottertail Lake. Golfing at Balmoral or Thumper Pond is another fun activity-both within a 10 minute drive. Easy access off Highway 78 and within a short driving distance to two State Parks-Glendalough and Maplewood-that offer hiking, walking and biking trails. Also near the Ottertail River-known for its lazy afternoon tubing.

There is an optional electric boat lift (max capacity 3100 lbs) for those who choose to bring their own boat. Public boat launch is only minutes away. We also have information from several partners about renting a boat/pontoon/wave runner/kayak for an afternoon, day or your entire stay!
